but wait just once and you’ll be gone.

You sing and laugh
and they applaud.
You dance around
and they all come.

That little girl
she’s really sweet
and like an angel she sings
of summer days.

Like a star she shines
in the midnight sky
but come dawn
and she’ll be gone

She’s so lovely
like a flower.
But so deadly
like the sea.

But little girl that she is
deceives you with her years,
lovely hair of blue
reflects the calm sea.

But inside she is trapped
and between two
she fights to keep
the identity that made her real.

But lovely girl,
my sweet girl,
with wings of ivory
she’s flown.

Up in the sky
the stars just shine
and she watches and waits.
Your time is near…your time is here.

But you just wait and you’ll be gone
among the stars you’ll shine
because his love
just made you crawl.

In his arms you’ll lie tonight

which neither belongs to you or her
you’ll give away.

Author’s Note: Well what do you think? Well its my Christmas gift to Lamanth, I don’t know if its late or not seeing as Christmas isn’t until tomorrow here and today is Christmas Eve here. I was planning on writing a Mimi-centric oneshot but I ran out of time. The poem was written with MingMing in mind. Through Lamanth’s writing I have also come to love the girl and she’s a great character to think and write about. Well read and review!
