An African man with glasses stood behind the podium reading from a statement and immediately began taking questions from the anxious press waiting to acquire information below.
"We don't know what's going to happen--"
"--Are you saying the military is unprepared?"
"At the current moment we're assembling every bit of armed force locally and internationally to help with the current conditions of the city--"
"--What caused this?"
"--We're not prepared to divulge that, but the infection has spread to the point where we'll be evacuating survivors, and studying this disease."
A reporter stood up, "Disease? You said you weren't sure what caused this."

"We're not. The government has been completely sideswiped by these riots. We've sent all local officers and emergency personnel and we're attempting to control it."
"Where did this come from?"
"We're not sure."
"How has it spread."
"We're not sure."
"What can the public do for safety?"
"We're asking that they remain calm and begin evasion. Bunkers, basements, attics, we're asking you to retreat into them, if you're unable to, we ask that you stay in your home, and begin boarding any open areas. Windows, doors, floorboards, and we ask that you stay calm." A tall man in a black suit walked to him silently and slipped him a paper whispering in his ear.

"At this time, we're asking the public to avoid these things. If you are near any of these infected individuals, arm yourself, or retreat immediately," the press murmured anxiously, "Get in your cars if it's not too late and find a place to hide. Avoid contact with these infected individuals as much as possible. They are extremely dangerous, they are very violent, and they WILL attack anyone upon contact."
"How will this affect hospitals?"
"Hospitals are taking in survivors, but at the moment many local and national hospitals are... closing down."
The press gasped in outrage and stood up.
"We're asking everyone to evacuate. Where ever you are, evacuate immediately, and seek safety. If you know someone who is infected, anyone who has a fever, or has died, flee immediately. The country is now going to a state of emergency, and we will be enlisting armed forces into different states to control this situation, I will not be answering anymore questions. Go home and get to your families. God bless."
