"You need to get out of bed sometime," sighed Sango. "It's been almost three weeks since Inuyasha and Sakiko got together." Sango knelt beside Kagome and placed her hand kindly on her shoulder. Kagome stiffened and burried herself deeper under her covers. "It's time to... I don't know! Find a new man, or something." Sango shook Kagome's shoulder reassuringly. "I hear Koga's still looking for a mate."

Kagome groaned in discust. "Go away!"

"I was just trying to lighten the mood. No need to get bitchy."

Kagome reached over and grabbed her shoe from the floor beside her and hurled it at Sango. It missed her head by inches and hit the wall behind her.

"I'm not a bitch."Kagome's speech was slurred from sleep. "She's the bitch."

"Just because you don't like her doesn't mean she's a bitch," Sango argued.

Kagome sat up and stared at Sango. "Oh," she said flatly. "Now you're on her side. Thanks. Thanks a lot." Kagome laid back down. "At least I still have Shippo."

"I'm not on anyone's side. And neither is Shippo." Sango said rather defensively.

"Were is Shippo anyway?" asked Kagome, slyly changing the subject. The last thing she needed right now was the only friend she had left mad at her. "I haven't seen him since he came in here begging for candy the day before last."

"Um... actually..." Sango backed away and made sure there were no more shoes within Kagome's reach. "I think he's with Sakiko right now."

Kagome sat up again. "Oh God. I better go rescue him before she corrupts him too." She stood and started for the door.

"Oh no, no, no, no." Sango pulled Kagome back down. "First of all, your hair's a mess! It looks like a cow's been licking it." Sango reached up and helped Kagome pat down her unruly hair. Kagome turned and walked out of the hut. "And second; the back of your night-shirt is tucked into your underwear," Sango called after her.

Kagome frantically grabbed at the hem of her shirt. "Dang it! Why does this always happen to me?"
