Charlie’s Fate
Fate meant
everything happened for a reason
Fate gave him a
trial without treason
Fate didn’t hate
him
Like everyone else
did
Fate wasn’t a fair
game
And it made sense to
not win
Music could soothe
any pain he had
But it was a
temporary relief
From everything bad
Fate played a bigger
part
In his messy life
Fate took the wheel
But didn’t exactly
save him from strife
Fate jerked the
wheel
And crashed him on a
place he didn’t know
But he embraced it
For once in his life
he could honestly say he felt whole
Fate played a part
In everyone’s life
who was there
It tricked them
It hurt them
But for him, he
didn’t care
He didn’t care
what it did to him
Because he accepted
it as part of his life
Yes, he cared that
he was hurt
But he had brought
that on himself
Eventually fate
would bring him back
To a place he knew
and loved
Eventually fate
would let him know
Things would work
out
And he would be
loved
