Hi, everyone! I know, I redo this story too many times! But this is the last time, I swear! And if, I lie, may lightening strike me! storms gather Not literally!!!
Disclaimer: I don’t SaiYuki, Patalliro, or any other animes I will be using, since this story is mostly crossovers from other animes. I do however own Kenji, Ronri and other characters that haven’t been introduced yet.(Isn’t it great? I actually own something!)
Summary: It's a story like no other! Sanzo's a vampire, his daughter's a prince, his son is a badass priest, and oh my god!! Gojyo's gone straight!! What the hell is happening?
My name is Amatsu Sanzo, 33rd inheritor of the Seiten and Kouten scriptures.
Well, actually my name is Kenji the 15th of Mandavia(made up.), Amatsu is just my Sanzo title. I am 15 and I am actually what every girl wants to be. A Princess. Well, actually I’m more of a Prince, since all of my superiors thought it would be best to keep the fact that I’m a woman, secret for some odd reason.
After my mother and father died, I was the next in line to rule the throne, for I am the only heir with the purest blood as they say, or so they say.
When my mother, Genjyo Katsumi, married my father, Genjyo Sanzo, she had no idea she was a Princess, so you can imagine her surprise when she found out. But before she could take the throne, she and my father strangely died a strange accident that no one would ever talk about when I was only a few months old.
Since both my parents were dead, I was raised by my Grandfather, King Koji, but he was always busy so I was mainly raised by nannies and my ministers, etc. My country is currently at war with another nation Marac(also made up.)that had invaded us a long time ago. Since my mother is dead, and Grandfather is usually bedridden, I have to make war plans and everything oh, so often, while trying to avoid becoming a puppet to one of my ministers, who are just waiting for me to die. No one outside my country knows about the war because I manage to avoid it getting any bigger than it is. Let's just say I have connections and leave it at that.
I have only one friend and that's my body guard, Son Goku. He has been with me for as long as I can remember, and is the only one I feel I can depend on.
Right now I am just focusing on how to end this oh, so annoying war that is a big pain in my ass.
I sat in my room, thinking about my next move. I was staring at the sky, looking for something I knew I would never find. I was wearing a long white robe over a black no sleeve shirt and small tan jeans.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Enter." I said. Then a man with long spiky brown hair in a ponytail and golden eyes entered.
“Amatsu.” he greeted as he entered. “Your dinner's ready.”
His name is Son Goku. He has been my body guard for years, but also works as my personal servant since I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, half the time.
“No thank you, Goku.” I declined politely. Being raised in the way I was, I was polite most of the time(when I wanted to.). “I’m not hungry.”
“But Amatsu! You’ve already missed breakfast, lunch, and even tea time! You gotta eat somethin'.” he urged. I sighed. knowing I would get nowhere with his persistence. At times he could be so annoying.
“Fine,” I gave in. “But bring it here. I wish to eat in my room.” Goku nodded.
“Okay! I’ll be right back.” he said as he ran out.
“And don’t eat it all on the way back like last time, monkey.” I called after him.
“I won’t! And I’m not a monkey!” he called back. I chuckled. I loved to tease people. It was very fun. I turned back to the window as I put a hand to my head. I had such a headache lately, but I didn’t know why. My guess is that it’s from all the stress lately. You think being a ruler is easy? Well, you’re wrong! It’s more stressful than anything in the world!
But I felt there was more than that, but what?
I stared up at the moon. It was so pretty.
Just then a huge sliver winged falcon came flying through the window.
“It’s about time that old man contacted me.” I said as it dropped a letter on my lap. He landed on my dress were a bird stand was. My eyes skimmed the letter. Then Goku entered the room carrying a tray.
“Amatsu! I back! They have a really good selection of food tonight. There’s ham, turkey, roast beef, meat buns, and--”
“You can eat it. I have to pack.” I interrupted as I went to my dresser.
“Eh? What? Why? Where are we going?” he asked, confused. Then he noticed the falcon. “Oh. Hey, Steel. What took Jada so long to send news?” he said to it as it flew on to his shoulder.
“Goku. We’re running away.”I informed him.
“Again?” sighed Goku with a sweat drop. “Amatsu, have mercy, please! The Prime Ministers are already throwing fits as it is! And I’m the one who gets lectured all the time!”
“Tough.” I said as I packed.
“Oh, come on! I don’t wanna have to sit through another lecture! And plus they’re already threatening to put bars on your windows. And they said they would band me from the kitchen if I let you runaway again!” he whined. He really hated getting lectured by the ministers. Unlike me, he hadn’t learned how to tune them out. Poor man. Plus he was a little scared of Zen, my head of security, who was all about rules and had a frightening temper. Not to mention the guy loved to eat, so banning him from the kitchen was the cruelest punishment to him.
“Your point?” I said, not caring at all.
“Amatsu!” he whined. I growled.
“Alright! Alright!” I hissed as I stood straight. “I’ll go tell them that we’re flying to England. At least this way we can use my private plane.”
“Didn’t we crash that?”
“No, we crashed the jet. Learn the difference, Monkey.” I said as I walked towards the door. “And write Jada. Tell him we’ll handle all the problems, no sweat.”
“Uh, okay. Uhhh... Handle what?” he asked, but I had already left the room.
I walked down the long cold halls of my palace. It was really big. It had many strange designs, and there were so many twists and turns I always used to get lost when I was child. Goku and many other servants still get lost as well.
One time Goku had gotten lost for a week and had to survive on tooth paste. I smiled at the memory. This place was filled with happy memories.
But...
For every happy memory I had, there were also very painful memories here. My eyes shadowed as I remembered most of my nannies and other servants dying here because of me.
I walked up to a door were I heard someone say,
“Look at these damage reports! It’s ridiculous! We’re going to have to keep a closer eye Prince Kenji from now on. Make sure he doesn’t leave without real super vision. And no, Goku does not count.” I immediately recognized the voice to belong to Zen.
‘Boy, I wonder what pretty words he’ll say after he hears this.’ I thought with a smirk. Then with a cheery smile I poked my head in the room and said,
“Hello, everyone. Hope I’m not interrupting, but I’m going on a long trip to England and I won’t be back for loooong time. Just thought I should inform you.” Zen shriek words so dirty it went above the rating of the fanfic. Zen had long aqua green hair and teal blue eyes.
“Nani?” said another man. His name was Kai and he had long spiky blonde hair and red eyes.
“I’m going away. I’m leaving. In other words, I’m leaving the country. I have some business to attend to elsewhere, so I’m going to have to leave for awhile. I’ll try to finish it as fast as I can but you guys can take of yourselves until I get back. Or so I hope.” I turned ready to leave when Zen yelled,
“Wait a minute! What makes you think you’re going anywhere?! You are not going anywhere!” I looked at him with emotionless eyes, then my face became amused.
“Oh? And how, might I ask, do you plan to stop me?” I asked with a evil smirk. Kai stepped in between us before he could reply.
“Now, now! Can’t we talk about this peacefully? Without destroying a part the palace again?” he said. But we both ignored him and continued our “creative discussion”.
“Why are you flying to England?!” snarled Zen.
“That’s classified. But Jada sent me important message, and I have to fetch something in England. We can argue all day, if you like, Zen, but at the end of the day I’m still going to England, and I would like to spend the day doing something useful. Like getting my stuff ready and all.” I told Zen. For a second I thought he was going to explode, for he was glowing red and was steaming.
‘Here we go.’ I thought, waiting for him to start lecturing me. But just then Zen calmed down and looked disturbingly calm.
“Alright... Then, let’s compromise.” he said. I raised a eyebrow.
“And what would that be...?” I asked.
//:Goku’s POV://
“Wha? You’re getting another bodyguard?” I asked when we were on the plane to England.
“Only while we’re in England. Apparently he believes I’m too much for you to handle alone, so we’re meeting someone in England to work as our tour guide and my temporally body guard. As if I need another one.” said Amatsu as she started coughing a little. I quickly ran to her side.
“Amatsu! Are you alright?” I asked concerned. Since she was very young, she had cureless decease that was slowly killing her. I wasn’t sure what it was called, but I did know it effected her heart and breathing(sorta like asthma), so she couldn’t do what other kids could, like yell really loud, or run really fast or anything would make her overexert herself fully. The doctors say that at most she’ll live until she’s 20, only if she takes it easy and takes her pills. That’s why Zen doesn’t like Amatsu leaving the palace, but Amatsu’s so stubborn, if he doesn’t let her leave, she’ll sneak out alone(except for me, but I practically stalk her.). Because of her stubbornness though, she could run(not really fast) and yell(a little)as long as she didn’t over exert herself or forget her pills.
“I’m fine.” she said stubbornly as she pushed me away. “I just forgot to take my pills today, that’s all.”
“You idiot! Kumi-san told you, you have to take them everyday!” I growled. She was so damn stubborn! Just like her father. I know, I raised her(Well, helped.)!
“Oh, shut up.” she sighed as she pushed her short golden hair back, that reminded me so of Sanzo’s. “You know I hate always having to depend on those things everyday.” she said. She really did look a lot like her father. She even had his coldness. She was so much like him... and yet so different. Unlike her father she was very polite and cared more about others than herself, like she would do anything to protect her people, and really loved to tease people.
On the other hand, she almost never smiles unless it’s in mocking, she is very stern and would rather bite off her own tongue and bleed to death than dance to someone else’s tune. She did what she wanted, when she wanted, no matter what. And she had inherited Sanzo’s annoying fan! Except hers was made out of metal so it hurt even more!
“I know you don’t, Amatsu. But you need to take them everyday or your body will become weaker and then you’ll just be a burden. You don’t want to be a burden, do you?” I said with a smirk. She glared at me.
“Your personality’s down the tubes. Fine. Hand me my pills.” she ordered. With a grin still on my face, I handed her her pills and a glass of water. She took them and gulped them down. Then she stuck out her tongue in disgust.
“These taste terrible.” she said bluntly. I laughed.
“So, about this new body guard. What’s he like and what’s his name?” I asked, changing the subject.
“His name is Neiji Ronri. Age 27, or so. He’s suppose to meet us at the hotel after we land.” she replied. I blinked.
“Neiji Ronri, huh? Hm. I wonder why that sounds so familiar.”
//:Ronri’s POV://
//Later//
I walked down the halls hands in my pocket. My name is Neiji Ronri, I have long, silky black hair and bright blue eyes. I am 27 years old, and I’m a demon. Of course my superiors, the people I work for, don’t know. Everybody thinks the demons are dead, but in fact they went into hiding. Now most of the demons are living among the humans, in hiding. Most don’t even know they’re demons. They’ve... forgotten, one might say.
I dug in my pocket and pulled out a sheet of paper with a number on it. I was assigned to be the bodyguard of Prince Kenji, Kenji the 15th of Mandavia. I’ve heard many rumors of him. They say he was only ten when he began his rein and that he uses his own plans of tactics to defend his country. They also say that he face the face and body of a angel, but when he’s fighting... they say he lashes out like a devil.
A boy that is both angel and devil... It would be a interesting meeting, to say the least. Not that I was that excited, from what I heard the prince was a trouble maker and I was going to be babysitting!
Finally I found the room. I took a deep breath and knocked.
After a second a voice that belonged to a boy yelled,
“If you’re a salesman, go away! We’re not buying anything!”
“I’m not a salesman!” I yelled.
“Or if you’re selling insurance.” the voice added.
“What insurance man would come here?!” I yelled again, annoyed. I banged on the door. “Open the door!” After a second a handsome man that looked around 21 opened the beautifully decorated door. He had long chocolate brown hair and deep golden eyes that matched the head band on his head, which I noticed to be a power limiter. That meant he was a demon as well.
“Jeeze,” he grumbled. “You sure are loud! And just when we just got rid of all the nannies. Who the hell are ya?” I pulled out my pocket book and showed him my badge.
“This is who I am.” I told him. He blinked. He looked really tired.
“A pocket book vender?” he yawned. “We already have pocket books, thanks.”
“Don’t you see this badge?! Get it in your head!” I snarled. He stared at it, then grabbed it.
“Oh. Right. You’re that new body guard. Sorry, I’m a little jet lagged. You gotta name?” he asked. I walked in as I snatched my pocket book back.
“I’m Neiji Ronri of MI6! England’s Military Information Bureau, section 6!” I told him. The boy scowled at me.
“We don’t have business with the Information Bureau.” he told me as he sat in a chair.
“Even if you don’t, I do,” I replied. “I was appointed to be his Highness, Kenji’s, bodyguard. Where is his Highness?”
“Look you. You don’t have to be so rude! Find ‘im yerself!” the boy said as he glared.
“Fine! I will!” I growled. Then I began to comb the room, which had many, many rooms in it. I searched the bathroom, the bedroom even the closet, but the prince was nowhere to be found.
Finally I returned to the living room where the boy was smirking at me.
“His Highness seems to be out.” I said. He laughed.
“Nope! He’s over there, on the couch! Some bodyguard you are to not have to notice him.” he said as he pointed at the couch. I looked over and saw that someone was reading the paper that hid most of him.
“I must say, I expected more, Mr. Ronri.” a charming, yet stern voice say. The person put down the paper and I stared.
The prince was so handsome! He was only 15 from what the files said, but his beauty was already showing. He had white ivory skin and beautiful sun gold hair and deep lavender eyes. I blinked as he stared at me boredly from behind his round reading glasses.
“You didn’t even notice me and I was in plain sight. How sad, I must say. Are you any good at your job?” he asked. I frowned as I walked over to him and pulled out a piece of paper.
“Hm, let’s see... Kenji the 15th, age 15, height , weight , bad personality... Hnn. Exactly.” I read. He frowned as he glared coldly.
“Shut up! And go away, I already have one babysitter, I don’t need another, so go home.” he ordered as he took off his glasses.
“Not a chance,” I said. “Right now Mandavia and Marac are in conflict. There is a huge risk that you will be targeted by assassins. And there’s another reason.”
“Eh? Really, what?” the boy asked.
“To make sure you don’t do something stupid like you did in Tokyo!” I told them.
“Blame the monkey over there, not me.” said the prince as she returned to her paper.
“I’m not a monkey!!” the boy yelled. “And it wasn’t my fault! Accidents happen!”
“Well, this ‛accident' almost realesed a raging robot in the world.”
“Whatever the case, I’m to make sure you two don’t get into trouble.” I interrupted as I took a seat.
“Yeah. Good luck with that.” said Kenji. Just then a servant entered with a cart of food.
“Awesome! The food’s here!” cheered the boy as he ran over to the cart. He thanked the servant then began to stuff his face rudely. I sweat dropped.
“And your name is?”
“That’s Goku. He’s my bodyguard/servant and has served me for years.” replied Kenji for him.
“I see.” I said as I stared at him. Goku... Where have I heard that name before?
I knew one thing for sure. The Prince, Goku, and I were not going to get along very well.
//:Kenji’s POV://
//Later//
Later that night I stared out my hotel window, thinking.
“Hey, where’s the guy from the Information Bureau?” Goku asked from a chair behind me.
“He insisted on staying in the room next door,” I answered. “Damn Zen. I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, and yet he feels the need to add more body guards. When we return, I shall have to make sure he pays dearly.” I growled to myself. Goku laughed nervously.
“C’mon now...” he said. “I’m sure this one will go home crying after just one week like the others. But anyways, moving on... Won’t him staying next door to you cause trouble?”
“No. I’ll make it work. One way, or another,” I replied. “But besides that, have our plans been set up? After all, swiping art from the London Art Museum is a big job.”
“Yep. We can handle it! It’s not like we haven’t done this before.” yawned Goku as he stretched.
“I know. I hope Jada is sure about the rumor he heard. I can’t believe one of my spies were foolish enough to hide a secret letter behind a painting! I mean, really! If that letter is found, it could give Marac the advantage! I cannot let that happen. So I have to retrieve it before the other side does.” I sighed irritably as I sat in a chair next to him, hands in my pockets. He chuckled lightly.
“That is so like you.” he said. Just then Ronri entered, knocking on the door only after he entered. I glanced at him.
“Oh, look. It’s the pocket book vendor.” I said.
“Who’s a pocket book vendor? I’m coming in.” said Ronri as Goku snicked from his seat.
“You’re I already in.” I told him with a slight smirk.
“Ha, ha. Very funny. What are you two doing?” he asked.
“Nothing.” I said.
“It looks like you’re plotting something...” he said with a frown.
“Maybe I am, maybe I not. As my new BG it’s your job to figure it out,” I told him. “But if you must know, we were planning on sneaking out to a playboy club.”
“Not a chance!” yelled Ronri. “Because tonight you’ll be under my constant supervision! You can believe that!” he yelled.
‘Oh, great.’ I thought sarcastically.
“Well, good luck with that.” Goku yawned as he stood. “I’ll see ya tomorrow, Amatsu. And good luck.”
“What does she need luck for?” Ronri blinked.
“I was talking to you.” Goku said as he shut the door.
“Later.” I called as he left. Ronri turned to me.
“Why does he call you Amatsu?” he asked.
“It’s part of my Sanzo title.” I explained. “My father, Genjyo Sanzo, was a Sanzo priest. Before he died he passed the Seiten Scripture to me along with the name ‘Amatsu Sanzo’. Goku prefers to call me by that so that I know it’s actually him.” I stood and walked over to him. “And now moving on. Even though you say ‘constant supervision’, what are you going to do? There’s only one bed.” He frowned.
“...It can’t be helped, we’ll sleep together.” he said. I stared at him flatly.
“Do you plan on raping me?” I asked in a flat tone.
“Like hell!! I’d rather throw myself off the London bridge and drown myself!” he snarled as he whipped around away from me, red. A playful, evil smirk crossed my face. Tonight could be fun after all. He, sensing the new aura, turned.
“What’s wrong?” he asked. I made myself blush a little as I made myself look more adorable.
“‘Pretty boy/girl killer’... Am I right?” I asked, in a innocent voice. “I did a little research on you when I found out you were to be my new BG. They say your private name is Pretty Boy/Girl killer. They say you like to seduce young men and women. And that you’re very good at it.” I said, making myself look even more innocent. He was blushing slightly. Perfect! He was fun to tease. “When people put it that way, you are defiantly sexy. Fine I’ll order you to be tonight’s entertainment.”
“Fool!!” he snarled redder than a cherry. “Don’t you have any dignity?! You’re a prince for crying out loud! And no one mentioned you were gay!”
“That’s because I’m not. I was teasing you, fool.” I said, going back to normal. “Although since you’re blushing the thought must have crossed your mind.” I smirked as I laid on the bed. He turned even redder.
“Sh... Shut up! Who would do this if it wasn’t their duty?!” he said as he crawled in the other side. “If you sneak out, I’ll know right away!” I smirked to myself. This was going to be fun...
You probably noticed that I changed Kenji’s Sanzo name from Tenmou to Amatsu. I found something very interesting. Amatsu is the name of the god of evil, but in Japanese it means ‛Heavenly'. It was so ironic, I had to use it.
