(A/N) Hey!! Please review!, and check out my other stories: Love at a DX, The Lucky One, and Torn Between Brothers! You don't have to review them all, but if you reviewed one it would be totally appriciated. Enjoy the first Chappie!!
Heather’s POV:
It was the first day of school, and I was already late. I entered my eleventh grade classroom and took a seat in the back.
What a way to start the year, I thought to myself as I dropped my backpack down near my desk. I looked around, it was just another classroom. They all seemed to be the same. I was pretty smart, but that didn’t mean I had to like school.
The boy next to me seemed like the quiet type. He had sort of shaggy black hair with grease in it. He was pretty tan, considering we were in Tulsa. I decided to introduce myself after class, I needed to start off the year with a friend.
Once class ended, I found him at his locker, which wasn’t to far from my own. I switched my books to my other arm and introduced my self.
“Hey, I’m Heather Fairbrook,” I said holding out a hand. He shook it and introduced himself.
“I’m Johnny Cade,” He said coolly. I could already tell he was a tough guy. I could deal with that. He just seemed like a nice guy that would be a good friend.
I smiled and looked at my clock, if I wanted to make it to my next class, I was gonna have to run.
I smiled and turned to leave, shouting, “See you around Johnny Cade,” over my shoulder.
After school ended I went to the DX station with a few new friends. According to them, there were a few hott guys that worked there after school and on weekends, I decided I’d go check it out with them.
We got there in time to see five or six guys hanging around the counter. I noticed one of them as a guy in our class named Steve Randle; another was Keith Matthews, they tended to pal around together.
Then there was Ponyboy Curtis. We were in the same photography club after school. Lastly I saw none other than Johnny Cade. I decided to leave my little gang and go over and say hi.
There were still a few guys I didn’t recognize but I was sure I’d meet them soon enough. I walked over and said casually said hi to Johnny while pretending to be waiting for help at the counter.
He retuned the greeting and his little group migrated over to me, led by a boy in a black leather jacket, with a tough expression. I sat on the counter and decided to hang out for a while. I noticed that two of the boys, one being Steve, had DX shirts on. I didn’t know the other boy, but he was gorgeous.
I decided to talk to them; after all talking wasn’t a crime…but could it lead to one?
