Ichigo POV, manga spoilers until chapter 248. IchiRuki favoured, of course.
#1. First.
The first time he saw her barging in his room, he thought she was a thief, despite the fact that she entered through the wall; but the stupidity of his thought only hit him much later.
#2. School.
When he saw her at school, he couldn’t believe what his eyes were telling him, and when he read what she had written in her palm, he was certain that she wanted him dead.
#3. Convinced.
When she convinced him to take over her shinigami job, he still pretended that he was doing what he wanted, because he didn’t want to look like a fool.
#4. Shinigami.
She taught him how to be a shinigami, and he taught her how to be more human.
#5. Modern world.
She often wondered about the modern world, and her discoveries over the simplest things never failed to amuse him.
#6. Trust.
It is while fighting daily at her side that he learnt to trust her.
#7. Rain.
Rain and its linked memories had always been a touchy subject for him, but he could speak about them with her because it was her.
#8. Stupid.
He always considered that the Don Kanonji show was utterly stupid, but Rukia’s caring thought dumbstruck him at that time.
#9. Rumours.
He had never cared about rumours, but that day, the murderous looks the other guys threw at him made him really uncomfortable.
#10. Away.
When he understood that she ran away and wanted him to hide, the only thing he could really think of was find her quickly and get her out off that mess.
#11. Despair.
Despair struck him while she was taken away, protecting him by giving her life willingly in an unfinished July rain.
#12. Revived.
He felt as if a part of him was dead when he woke up, and only revived when he got the insurance that he could save her.
#13. Ghost.
At school, no one reminded her, but her ghost seemed to follow him everywhere, because he had been everywhere with her in that closed space.
#14. Father.
When his father asked him to introduce him to the girl he’d meet during his “trip”, he briefly wondered what would he say if he met Rukia.
#15. Poker face.
When Ganjuu asked him about Rukia, he took care to hide his face when he replied because he wasn’t sure that he could make a poker face.
#16. Faith.
When Hanatarou told him that Rukia had an unbelievable high faith in him, it only deepened his need to save her.
#17. Faltering.
When he fought Renji again, and faced his faltering, he couldn’t help but feel irritated, and showed him what a true resolution was.
#18. Saved.
It was a strange feeling to know that he was saved by his strong desire to fight and rescue Rukia when he fought Zaraki, allowing himself to borrow Zangetsu’s power.
#19. Knight.
When he flied to the bridge, he didn’t know he was going to meet Rukia; so when all he could see was her, he kneeled down, overly conscious to look like a knight, but in reality trying desperately to not be overwhelmed by his mixed emotions.
#20. Eyes.
He still couldn’t look at her in the eyes when he told her that he came to save her.
#21. Tears.
When he saw her on the verge of tears, he didn’t have to make a huge effort right after to face her brother.
#22. Soul.
When Renji told him that Rukia was going to be executed the day after, he swore on his soul that he was going to save her, no matter what.
#23. Confident.
Luckily, Yoruichi gave him a cloak to fly, but this time, when he flied to the Soukyoku, he felt much more confident, knowing that he was going to meet Rukia.
#24. Filled.
He wasn’t even aware that there were other shinigamis down there, because at that time, his eyes were filled by Rukia.
#25. Concern.
When she shouted at him, he was surprised, and then, he saw the concern for him written all over her face; why she couldn’t get that he was feeling the same way for her was beyond him.
#26. Throw.
When he saw Renji, he decided to throw Rukia at him, knowing perfectly that he would rather die than seeing her hurt; and that was the same feeling that made him do that.
#27. Stronger.
He didn’t get why Byakuya wanted to kill his sister so badly, but he knew that his desire to protect her was stronger.
#28. Bankai.
Byakuya didn’t understand how it was possible to obtain bankai so fast, so he told him that he gained it just to save Rukia –which was true, but still out of Byakuya’s grasp.
#29. Chessboard.
When he understood that he was only a piece on a chessboard, he didn’t really mind, because all he could see was that Aizen had Rukia in his hands.
#30. Heartbeat.
When Aizen ordered Gin to kill Rukia, his heartbeat stopped for a moment.
#31. Move.
He couldn’t move an inch, but tried desperately nonetheless, wanting to protect her when Shinsou striked.
#32. Belonged.
It didn’t cross his mind that she wasn’t going back with him, because he thought she belonged with him in the real world.
#33. Defeat.
When she told him that she was staying, it took him aback, but seeing her true smile, he could just admit his defeat; the memory of her crying face when she was taken away was still very present and bitter, and her being happy was all he could wish for right now.
#34. Smile.
When he left, he was overly conscious that the rain had stopped pouring in his heart because of her and her smile.
#35. Apologize.
When he saw Urahara, he asked him to apologize to Rukia next time; only, he couldn’t face anyone when Rukia’s name was mentioned, because he still felt that she was missing.
#36. Bugged.
When Kon bugged him over about Rukia, he shut him off, because really, he didn’t want to think about her at that moment.
#37. Drifting.
He was slowly drifting away from his friends, but there was no one who could help him; he knew the only one who could wasn’t about to be by his side.
#38. Fixated.
He felt her presence just when she spoke; and then, everyone else disappeared, his eyes fixated on her, realizing slowly that it was her, and that he really missed her.
#39. Words.
She slapped him, and took him out of his body without any warning; but, most importantly, the words she told him right after filled him with a new energy and confidence.
#40. Bed.
When Rukia sat on his bed, he freaked out for some reason.
#41. Adopted.
When he introduced Rukia to his family, his father immediately adopted her as a third daughter, and he couldn’t even say that he was bothering him.
#42. Fitted.
When he saw Sodeno Shirayuki, he couldn’t help but think that it fitted her so well.
#43. Kill.
When Grimmjow hurt her, all he could think was that he had to kill him.
#44. Breath.
The only thing he could see was her, and he held his breath, feeling his soul aching while she was being healed; if an instant could last an eternity, then this one sure was close from it.
#45. Decision.
He had to step away, but eventually came back to her, noticing nothing but her; and he knew he was about to make the most difficult decision in his life.
#46. Ashamed.
It was when he was in a desperate position that he saw her again, and he was so ashamed of himself that once again he couldn’t look at her in the eyes.
#47. Shift.
When he understood that she was taken away once again, he decided to shift his focus on his mission, because really, it wasn’t going to do any good if he grieved on how he was going to miss her.
#48. Alright.
Who was going to give them water, was he about to shout at the four stupid Hollows, but then he felt her reiatsu, and a shard of her upcoming hakuren, and he knew that it was going to be alright.
#49. Nakama.
When the word nakama reluctantly fell from her lips, he felt shattered, but then, he understood what she meant, and smiled happily.
#50. Pride.
He was really worried when she suggested to split up, but he knew she had too much pride to accept anything else, so he accepted her idea.
I'll make Rukia sometime soon. And yes, I began to write Normality chapter 21. Don't ask for Unsettle though, because I still haven't got enough ideas for it.
