Wanting The Virus
Chapter One
Tala stood on a partially icy bridge over a frozen river, it was passed twelve in the night and the temperature was below nine degrees. He was wrapped in a thick coat and jeans with knee high fur boots, his hands hidden in his pockets from the frost biting cold.
But his face and icy eyes so clearly visible, his white skin red burnt from the cold, he stood so still you would have sworn he was frozen.
The crushing of snow as someone stood next to him shattered the silence,
"It's been arranged Tala…" the tight voice of a larger built boy spoke softly.
A terrible smirk crept across the seemingly frozen features,
"Excellent…when?" his own voice came out with a cloud of mist.
The larger boy smirked himself slipping his hands out of his own thick coat pockets,
"Tomorrow…an early flight to Japan, Tokyo. We'll arrive by late evening just like you wanted." He held out two plane tickets to Tala.
Tala chose not to take them and instead sighed and his smirk faded,
"Japan…such a backward country…even with all their technology. Wouldn't you agree Bryan?"
Bryan looked carefully at Tala, always suspicious of hidden meaning to the younger boy's words,
"In the judicial system you mean?" Bryan answered carefully.
Tala smiled again and Bryan was relieved that he had been correct,
"They will never even look twice…they love tourists…" Tala laughed which was rare.
Bryan slipped the tickets back into his pockets and he smiled himself, seeing Tala happy was rare. Tala may have been pure evil, but he had been through more than his share of pain.
They were from Balvoc Abbey…the pits of hell for any orphaned child, Tala at six and Bryan at eight. They had been so innocent, neither knew of evil or hatred or revenge. But time had hardened them and moulded them into two scorned young boys who had suffered at the hands of a sick man.
They had been tortured and abused physically for so much if their young lives and so was the result. But Bryan had been stronger as a child, Tala had broken terribly at thirteen, his mind and body were not strong enough. He had always been a thin and much weaker child than the rest.
But things changed soon after that…Tala changed.
Now even Bryan feared Tala…he was malicious, devious and very sadistic at the best of times, he also gained a strange amount of physical strength, but Tala had an usual aura around him…a dark aura. And at times the look in his eyes would send shivers down Bryan's spine, which was hard to achieve.
Still no one knew how Tala had become this way.
He was eighteen now and Bryan knew all of his terrible capabilities.
"So Tala, where do we stay tonight?"
Tala smiled,
"Boris's house…" he whispered and Bryan let a laugh slip.
"You're sick…"
"I know…" Tala said seriously and started walking off the bridge, Bryan following quietly.
Tala had killed Boris, he had went straight at Boris and slit his throat in the middle of one of Boris speeches. He had simply snapped, his razor sharp beyblade held in his thin hand, it was as if a hidden force guided him.
Boris's blood splattered in many fine spots across Tala's face but he hadn't flinched and he had smiled calmly afterward as if he had felt peace. But he and Bryan ran after that, they left the abbey before they had been caught. That was six months ago, in that time hell had loosed itself within Tala.
Tala had a body count of twenty-six people under his name, some bad people but most innocent ones who had convenient things for Tala's use, like the money that bought the coat he wore. Bryan was no better, he had been used to beating the hell out of people and so he held twelve people under his own name.
His murders were more brutal than Tala's, but Tala's was more planned and skilled.
They were fugitives now and so they were skipping the country in order to start a new…but Bryan doubted life would ever be any different, not with Tala as he was.
But Alexander being his son was orphaned now and so the state was fighting for a guardian and to keep the property.
Tala waved an irritated hand in front of his face when the dust started choking him,
"I wouldn't be surprised if this place was like this when the bastard was alive…" he mused quietly and he heard Bryan chuckle at the comment.
"So you're tired of breaking in to peoples houses or killing them for a place to stay?" Bryan watched as Tala looked around in the dark.
Tala turned to him and his face was blank a moment,
"No, I just thought that since we've been labelled serial killers and rapists, that we should just lie low for the night before we leave…" his voice was toneless.
Bryan grinned,
"And this you wanna do by sleeping in the house of you're first murder victim?"
"Why not…" was Tala's simple answer.
Tala was in fact no rapist, that was Bryan when he decided he was horny, he'd prowl the streets and pick up some helpless teenager and finish her off sexually and fatally afterward.
"So, wanna find the bedroom?" Bryan said in a tone that made Tala smile.
"We'll find the bedrooms Bryan…" he said in plural.
Bryan just smiled,
"How long are you gonna play hard to get?"
"I'm not playing." Tala said blandly and walked up the stairs.
Bryan followed,
"Tala, its our last night in Russia, just give it to me…" Bryan whispered in the dark as they walked up the stairs.
"I will never have sex with you Bryan." Tala walked into the first bedroom he found and turned to look at Bryan standing in the doorway smiling at him, his eyes having adjusted to the dark.
"Why…"
"Because you disgust me." Tala moved to close the door.
Bryan reached out and held his arm tightly,
"Because I rape people?" he smirked.
Tala's eyes settled on Bryan and that shiver ran down his spine from the threatening look Tala gave him, he released Tala's hand and stood up straight.
Tala prepared to shut the door,
"Because you're beneath me Bryan…and you're far from my type anyway…and you like women…" he pulled his face slightly and he slammed the door.
Once Bryan's face was no longer visible Tala swallowed his nausea and looked around the room he'd chosen. It was a master bedroom and Tala felt his nausea return when he realised he'd chosen Boris's room,
"Oh joy…" he mumbled and walked over to the bed.
Tala flopped down on the bed and stared at the canopy above him and he sighed…
'Here's to starting a new life…with only my best friend at my side and nothing else…in Japan…' he didn't much like that idea, but it would be suitable for the time being.
He never slept much though so he just lied there, he couldn't sleep because the blackness of his mind only held nightmares of all of his misery. He could never let those thoughts weaken him and so he wouldn't let sleep take him…he merely rested.
Tala looked up at the large screen showing all the flight times in reds and greens, then once he located their flight he turned to look for Bryan.
He frowned seeing Bryan watching some twenty-ish girl some distance across the open space and Tala took a breath and then walked over casually to where Bryan leaned against a pillar,
"Don’t you even think about it…or I will rip out you're spleen and make you drink you're blood…I can't have you fucking this up." His voice was so nice that Bryan nearly choked.
But he listened without a second glance to the girl and followed Tala to the departure section of the large airport.
It was a tedious process of getting onto the plane but once they sat in their first class seats Tala cared less about Russia and all the hell it had given him.
He sat in his window seat while Bryan watched the hostesses eagerly, Tala knew that Bryan lacked control, he had schizophrenic tendencies for years after Boris first threw him into solitary confinement.
"Bryan…" Tala was still staring out of the window and he felt Bryan's gaze fall on him,
"I have warned you once…but I see that you're tempted. You know what temptation does to a person…and if you continue to act this way then I may be tempted to act…" his voice was low and Bryan sighed,
"Fine…but this is a long ass flight Tala, I may need some entertainment." He smirked and touched the back of Tala's neck suggestively.
Tala looked at him,
"If you touch me again Bryan I'll break you're hand…" he said with a smile.
Bryan smirked but he pulled his hand back quickly.
"You can scare the little children…without physical contact." Tala specified and then went on to ignore Bryan.
Tala was anticipating his new life…he wanted to start fresh, but something told him that he wasn't so lucky.
