Some of you may know, others not. There is a challenge at the IchiRuki LJ Community. Each day, until Jan.19, we have to write a drabble at least 100 words or draw a pic around one object or one sentence (they have to be written down in the fic). So far, 3 days have passed, and here are my takes on the 3 days. I'll update to let you know the other drabbles. Rating goes to K+ to T.

01.07.2007: Pure and Untainted

Title: Pure and Untainted

Words count: 170

It was snowing outside, and slowly the ground had been covered by a white, immaculate powder. It is weird, he thought, while gazing at it. Snow is a form of rain, but I don’t mind it. It gave the impression of purity… just like the little shinigami sat beside him. It reminded him so much her Sodeno Shirayuki and her white shikai. So pure, untainted…

He glanced at her, and saw her drawing. Another glance at the paper informed him that it was two bunnies making a snowman.

“You want to make one?” he asked, switching his look back to the snow.

She looked up at him, and he had to make an effort to not look back at her. “Can we?” she inquired, a glimpse of surprise in her voice.

“Sure,” he nodded.

Half an hour later, he was cursing under his breath, because really, why did Rukia want a Chappy snowman? He was pondering about starting a snowball war when he caught her laughing. Really, pure and untainted…
