Chapter 1

“KAGOME GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP!!” a male voice bellowed “oh shut the hell up!” a nine year old girl shouted from her bed “what’d you say?” Kagome sat up in her bed glaring at her closed door “I said shut the hell up asshole! Not get the hell away from my door!” she bellowed more loudly and it told the person to get away or die.

On the other side of the door footsteps stepped back away from the door then walked away down the hall. When Kagome heard the footsteps fade away she got out of bed already dressed into a black wife beater that said “Waste My time, I’ll Waste Your Life” across her chest. She wore black flare pants that had chains crisscrossing from each other written on the leg was “I’ll Make Your Life a Living Hell.”

Kagome grabbed her I Pod and put the ear pieces in her ear and pressed play music blared out of the earphones. Walking out of her room she closed it behind her and walked downstairs with her hands stuffed in her pocket.

In the kitchen Kun-Loon, Kagome’s Mother, Onigumo, her step-father, and Souta, her little brother, was sitting at the table eating their breakfast silently Kun-Loon looked up at her when she heard her come into the kitchen. She gave her a warm smile “good morning sweetie” she greeted Kagome gave her a cold look making her shut her mouth from saying anything else.

Yes, Kagome was a badass kid, not because she just wants to, it’s because she was turned that way. Her real father died when she was just two and her mother remarried two moths after her father’s death and it was because she married the most sinister person in the world.

Onigumo Spider, he always abused her when she was very little and never treated her like family only her brother since he was young and a male. She didn’t hate her brother because of it actually the only person she could stand in her family was her grandfather and him.

“Kagome, don’t give your mother that look” Onigumo said sternly while glaring at her with his red eyes. Kagome sent him the most bone chilling and piercing glare from the side of her eye, she maybe small and young but she sure hell won’t anyone push her around like she was a useless toy.

“Be quiet Onigumo, no one wants to hear your mouth” she said tonelessly Onigumo narrowed his eyes at her and stood up from his seat “why you fucking…” “Honey, please!” Kun-Loon pleaded.

Onigumo and Kagome had a glaring contest and Onigumo was losing miserably he scowled at her “get the hell out of here already” he said looking away form her not wanting to look into the girl’s icy blue eyes that could match ice itself.

Kagome grunted softly then grabbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder like it was nothing, there were about fifteen or so books in the bag and was heavy though it didn’t seem to phase Kagome one bit.

Putting up the volume on her I Pod for everyone heard what she was listening to; it was one of her favorite band, Linkin’ Park, Breaking the Habit. She walked out the kitchen without another word or glance everyone heard the front door open then close.

It was winter, one of Kagome’s favorite seasons, the snow and ice matched her heart, cold and hard. She walked down the street to her school she wore a black long coat that strapped closed instead of zip or button it resembled the one that people in the Matrix movie wear.

She wore this because it made her look more deadly and promising. “Yo Kagome!” someone called Kagome pressed the pause button on her IPod then stopped and looked behind her to see one of her friends “hey Jankotsu” she said monotone her eyes drooped a bit making her look a bit serious.

Jankotsu was one of Kagome’s friends who always stuck with her when anything went bad. He was gay but she didn’t care as long as it doesn’t have to do with her he wore girl clothes but wears male clothes when she tells him to he was two years older than her though he treats her like they were the same age.

Jankotsu smiled at her “I know that look, let me guess, your asshole of a father bugged you?” “no he challenged me” Kagome said in a bored tone Jankotsu laughed “he’s lucky he’s your step father or he’ll be dead by now” “hn” Kagome turned around started walking towards her school again.

“So I heard the gang it going to have a rumble on 17th Avenue tonight” “yeah, want to come I bet you could have some fun with some hot guys” Kagome grinned evilly. Jankotsu instantly brightened up at this “ooo, you bet” “good, meet me near the street at 8 o’ clock sharp” “aight” they reached the school when everyone saw them they instantly ran away not wanting to mess with them.
