Graduation: An Hsm Oneshot

Authors note: ok, so i used hsm characters, and this story is about the usual peoples senior year. if you listen to Graduation by Vitamin C, it adds to the effect, oh yeah, and im too lazy to capatalize words...sorry!

Ok to start it off, Gabriella and troy have been dating since twinkle town, which was junior year. Now its senior year, well the end of it really. Twinkle town was amazing! the best musical east high ever had. And yes, everyones favorite couples got together. troy/gabriella, chad/taylor, sharpay/zeke, kelsi/jason. Whatever happen to Ryan? well he graduated a semester early, he was currantly attending new york film acadamy, and was dating some girl named Kate, he really isnt gay. Anyways back to the real story.

(Graduation after party at sharpays house)

"ok! just one more picture you guys, i promise!" sharpay said enthusiastically

"Sharpay thats what you said about the last three!!" Gabriella said through a yawn.

"i know! but guys! this might be the last time we ever see each other again!! Now come on, gather round!!" sharpay said, trying not to mess up her makeup with tears.

The gang new she was right, everyone seemed they were going they're own seperate directions for college. I mean couples wanted to stay close, but life had to go on. It couldnt be high school forever.

They gang once again formed themselves in that unforgettable pose. Troy and gabby standing back to back holding hands with everyone else scattered around them. Sharpay set the timer for the camera and quickley took her spot between gabriella and zeke.

FLASH

Everyone sighed, and broke from their poses.

"Lets get this party STARTED!!" chad said as he grabbed taylor's hand and headed toward the main living room, where he turned on the surround sound. Everyone followed them into the party area, putting out their favorite dance moves.

Everyone except for Gabriella. She stayed in the entry hall, holding her yearbook to her chest, silent tears falling from her eyes. She couldnt help it. Everything about east high made her want to cry.

Troy came in from the other room, and quickly noticed the tears sliding down her face.

"Gabi, whats wrong" troy asked soothingly, as he cupped her face in his hands and gently wiped her tears.

"oh, its just...i cant believe high school's over." she finally managed to say.

"me neither... i mean it feels like yesterday we were battling the school about us."

Us, gabriella couldnt help but smile when she heard that. "Us" was what got them through that unforgettable year. Gabi couldnt help let out another sob

"oh, gabi dont cry!" troy said pulling her into a hug. Gabi couldnt stop sobbing. She wrapped her arms around troys back. She loved the feeling of security troy gave her.

"everythings gonna be ok, gabs, dont worry." Troy said

he always knew the right thing to say. Gabi looked up at troy, with her eyes glossy from crying.

Troy looked down at her, he couldnt help but smile at his girlfriend. She was so cute, even when she cried.

he leaned down and kissed her sweetly on the lips. Gabi rested her head on his chest.

"Just promise me..." troys voice faded

"promise you what?" Gabriella asked, lifting her head up to look at him once again.

"promise me, that we'll always be together." troy finally said. then blushed at how corney his line sounded.

Gabriella smiled and kissed him.

"i promise" she whispered into his ear.

Troy beamed at her. No one else made him feel this way. He knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with this girl.

He kissed her again, more passionatly then before.

Gabriella deepened it by wrapping her arms around his neck.

"i love you gabriella" troy said in a hushed voice

"i love you too troy" gabriella replied.
