Yay for first chapter!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, this is a seven-chapter story with nothing but songfics. All songs in here are by Evanescence, ‘cause Evanescence is awesome, you know? Anyway, this first one is FireheartxSandstorm, with the song Hello.
DISCLAIMER: I don’t own Warriors and never will, unfortunately. Then again, if I did own it, the books would only come out once a century, since I work so slow… Aren’t you glad I don’t own?
I let out a hiss through my teeth. Honestly, toms. Why did I even try? Fireheart was so clueless. Come on, he was the only warrior in the Clan who couldn’t tell that I liked him. Fireheart. Was. Such. An. Idiot.
Playground school bell rings again
Rain clouds come to play again
Has no one told you she’s not breathing?
Hello
I’m your mind
Giving you someone to talk to
Hello
All he ever did in is spare time – which he didn’t have much of, mind you – was mourn Spottedleaf. I don’t think he ever liked her for anything besides her looks, personally. Spottedleaf was pretty, but I think that had she lived longer, he would have gotten over her. It was just a foolish apprentice crush. Why couldn’t he see me right in front of him?
If I smile and don’t believe
Soon I know I’ll wake from this dream
Don’t try to fix me
I’m not broken
Hello
I’m the lie
Living for you
So you can hide
Don’t cry
Angrily, I spat and stalked out of camp. Maybe a bit of hunting could calm me down.
Sometime later, I buried my prey and sat at Sunningrocks, gazing at the indigo water. The sun had set, so the only light came from the crescent moon that was perfectly reflected in the glassy river. The soft silver light from the heavens soothed me, and I realized that nothing had ever made me feel so good in my life.
If I wanted to be with Fireheart, he had to figure out our relationship first. Of course, he did spend a lot of time with Cinderpelt, so maybe she would tell him.
Maybe…
Suddenly I know I’m not sleeping
Hello
I’m still here
All that’s left of yesterday
…Maybe he would be able to let go of Spottedleaf on his own.
Short, sweet, and profoundly odd. I just bought this song on iTunes, and I realized that it fit this pairing perfectly. I love that song… REVIEW!
