“Springtime at Disneyland”

By narutofreak14

It really pains me to say it, but this is the VERY last chapter of “Springtime at Disneyland”. Yes, I know. We have had some great memories of this story, what with Lettuce becoming a pawn of darkness and all that. Nevertheless…after two years…it’s time to put an end to the story.

I hope everybody enjoy this last chapter of “Springtime at Disneyland”.

-----Chapter 27-----

Nighttime began to fall over the Disneyland Resort. The streetlights came on, illuminating the streets and pathways. Colors began to fill the white dome of the Space Mountain and the white structure of California Screamin’. The waterfront of Frontierland was getting prepared for the first showing of Fantasmic.

Lettuce Midorikawa and Ryou Shirogane were walking towards “it’s a small world”.

“Come on Lettuce,” said Ryou. “Do we really have to go through this?”

“You liked it back in Japan,” said Lettuce.

“Yeah…but that was because it was the holiday version,” Ryou said.

“But…that was the first ride we shared as a couple,” said Lettuce.

“Well…yeah, it was. But…”

As the two got closer to the ride’s entrance, they noticed many people in masses walking out of the ride’s exit. A cast member roped off the entrance. Ryou and Lettuce were confused. “Sorry folks, but ‘it’s a small world’ is experiencing a few technical problems,” the cast member said among the masses.

“Awwww…” Lettuce said, upset.

Thank God,” Ryou thought to himself. “Well, you heard the man. The ride’s closed. Hey, you know what will be even better. Getting a nice romantic spot for the fireworks?”

“Oh…that would be nice,” said Lettuce.

“Yeah, so let’s forget about the ride and find a spot for the fireworks,” Ryou said.

“Okay,” said Lettuce. The two then began to walk through the crowded pathways, towards the castle, trying to find a spot.

Over on Harbor Boulevard, Ichigo and Kish sat down at a nearby restaurant (A/N: think Denny’s), having a nice meal. Ichigo was now a human girl again after Ryou injected a counter to the alien DNA in Ichigo’s body.

“Ah! I feel so good being back in my old body!” Ichigo said happily.

“Oh come on koneko-chan,” said Kish. “You were beautiful whether you were alien or human.”

“Thanks Kish, but I know you really wanted me to look like a girl,” said Ichigo.

“God, you know me so well,” said Kish. “So, what are we going to do about your dad?”

“Oh, don’t worry about my dad,” said Ichigo. “He’s a goof ball. When I was going out with Masaya, he challenged him to a kendo match.”

“What do you think he’s going to do with me?” Kish asked.

“Beats me,” Ichigo said.

The two continued looking around, watching everyone else eat. “This is a nice restaurant,” Ichigo said.

“Yeah, but it’s too bad I didn’t have enough money to try that Blue Bayou thing again,” Kish said.

“Oh…” Ichigo said.

“But, hey I don’t blame you Ichigo,” said Kish. “I’m just happen your back to the way you are.”

“So Kish, are you going to go back to your planet or are you going to stay here on Earth?” asked Ichigo.

“Well…Pie doesn’t want to leave Zakuro here by herself and Tart kind of moved himself in to Pudding’s house, I have no choice but to stay here.”

“But…where will you live?” asked Ichigo.

“I’ll find an apartment place somewhere,” said Kish.

“Well, I’m glad you’re going to stay here with me. There’s a lot of places that I can take my new boyfriend to that I couldn’t with Masaya.”

“New boyfriend? Is there someone I don’t know about?” asked Kish.

“Kish, I’m talking about you,” said Ichigo.

“You…you mean it? I’m…I’m your boyfriend now?” asked Kish.

“I think you did enough to prove to me that you love me,” said Ichigo.

“Alright! I’m her boyfriend!” Kish shouted, happily. He was starting to attract everybody’s attention. Kish looked around, and didn’t care. “Everybody, she said yes!” he shouted. The whole restaurant began celebrating, much to Ichigo’s embarrassment.

While everyone in Fantasyland and Main Street were trying to find a spot for the fireworks, everyone in Frontierland was trying to find a spot for “Fantasmic!” which was a very popular nighttime show, featuring fireworks and lasers.

Minto and John were sitting on the balcony of the Disney Gallery (now the Disneyland Dream Suite in real life). The Disney Gallery sat on the second floor above Pirates of the Caribbean. The balcony overlooked the entire waterfront, perfect for “Fantasmic!” Moreover, since the attraction closes at night, Minto and John had the whole room to themselves.

“Isn’t this great Minto?” asked John. “I told you I get you the best spot in the park.”

“It’s nice…but won’t the other cast members complain about you being here with me?” asked Minto.

“I’ll just them that I was cleaning it out and then I got distracted by the show,” said John.

It was 7:55 p.m., five minutes until the first show begins. “So….Minto, I heard that you will be leaving tomorrow,” said John.

“Well…yeah,” said Minto. “I mean, Disneyland was fun, but I have to go home.”

“And we were just having fun,” said John, sadly.

“Well…what a great way to end the trip than with a show of “Fantasmic!” Minto said.

Soon enough, the lights dimmed and bright spotlights appeared on Tom Sawyer’s Island. The music began playing loudly. The spotlights then pointed down towards the stage, where Mickey Mouse appeared. The crowd began cheering as Mickey Mouse began shooting fireworks out of his fingers and moving the water.

Huge fireworks and mist screens accompanied the show as it showed Disney characters and villains. Minto loved the show in all of its glory. “This show is so beautiful,” said Minto. “It’s very well-done.”

“What to know how they created the mist screens?” John asked. Minto thought about it for a moment. “I’m sure you know how everything is done here, but let’s not ruin the…magic,” Minto said. John was surprised, but he agreed. “Yeah…I guess you’re right.”

Later on, after Mickey Mouse had defeated the villains and kept them from invading his imagination, the Mark Twain Riverboat came out from the dark. All of the Disney characters began dancing as the uplifting music began playing. “I’m really going to miss you Minto,” John said. Minto turned around and saw John getting closer to her. “Yeah…I’ll miss you too,” said Minto. The two then held each other’s hands as “Fantasmic!” ended.

-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-

Over at Main Street, people squeezed in to watch “Remember…Dreams Come True”, Disneyland’s fireworks show. Ryou and Lettuce found a spot right by the entrance of Tomorrowland. The fireworks continued flying into the air, exploding into a variety of colors. “Wow…” Lettuce said. “It’s so pretty.”

“Yeah…” Ryou said. Ryou then turned to Lettuce. “Um, Lettuce…”

“Yes?” Lettuce asked.

“I’m not sure if you heard this yet,” said Ryou. “But Keiichiro is planning on taking a year-long vacation.”

“Keiichiro’s leaving?” asked Lettuce.

“He says that he’s burned out after the Mew project, so he thinks it’s time he took a vacation,” Ryou said. “So…I’ll have to do the cooking in the café…all while I’m still running the restaurant. So that means someone is going to have to help me run the café.”

“Oh…” Lettuce said. “Have you decided who yet?”

“Well…I don’t really have a lot of friends. I started to look at you and the others. Pudding’s too young, Zakuro’s too busy with her famous life, Minto with the way she works will never get a promotion, and Ichigo…she complains too much,” said Ryou. “The only person who can really help me out is…you.”

Lettuce was surprised. Her boss and her boyfriend was giving her a promotion. “You…you want me to…run the café?” Lettuce asked. “Oh…I don’t think…I can…”

“Yes you can! You’re the smartest girl I know,” said Ryou.

“Yeah…but…I can’t do it. I’m not qualified to handle something that involves managing,” said Lettuce.

“Lettuce, out of all the people that work for me in the café, you are the only one who can take Keiichiro’s place. I mean, yeah, you have broken a few dishes, but you never quit or got angry or anything. You just dusted yourself off and picked up the pieces. Pudding wouldn’t notice, Minto’s too lazy to clean it, and Ichigo will just complain about it.”

“Well, the other four never joined the bad guys,” Lettuce said.

“Oh Lettuce…are you still going on about that?” Ryou asked. “It’s already over! Noemo’s dead, you’re back to our side, and Ichigo and I forgave you.” Ryou was silent for a moment. “Well…I can’t really blame you for temporarily joining Noemo. In fact, I blame myself for what happened,” said Ryou.

“Oh no! It was my fault!” Lettuce said.

“No, no! Ichigo and I were the ones who made you go crazy. You saw me and her hugging each other,” said Ryou.

“Oh yeah…I never asked you about that,” said Lettuce.

“Well, I admit, I was still thinking about Ichigo. But I wanted to move on. So what I did, I asked her to meet me near the hotel. I wanted her…to curse me out and just let her mouth roll. She said every curse word in the book, she told me I was trash, and she told me something I needed to hear,” said Ryou.

“What did she say?” asked Lettuce.

“The last thing she told me was that I should be ashamed of myself, for being a little…pansy…not moving on to you. I can’t really tell you what she said exactly, mainly because she used some colorful language. She broke my heart, but I’m glad she did. Because now…the only person who could heal it was you,” said Ryou.

Lettuce was speechless. “You…you really think that?” Lettuce asked.

“Of course I do. You’re the hardest worker I’ve ever meant. You’re also the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. You make me feel…fell…I don’t even know a word to describe how I fell about you,” Ryou said.

Lettuce was beginning to tear up a bit. ‘Oh Ryou,” she said. The two got closer and their lips met. The two share a very passionate kiss underneath the fireworks. Lettuce broke the kiss for a little bit. “I’ll think about it,” she whispered. The two then continued kissing.

THE NEXT DAY…

Today was the day that everyone had to go home. The whole group was packing up everything, getting ready to go to the airport.

Minto Aizawa, having already packed up her stuff, wanted to see John before she has to leave to go back to her home. She walked up to his suite, which was serving as his room. She walked up to the door and was about to knock his door, but then, she pulled back. “Maybe it’s best if I just left,” she thought.

Suddenly, the door swung open. Minto was surprised as John stood in front of her. “Oh!” he said, surprised. “Hi.”

“Hi,” Minto said.

“What…what are you doing?” asked John.

“Oh…um…I just…wanted to stop by and talk to you,” Minto said. “Can I come in?”

“Sure,” John said. He opened the door wider and let Minto in.

Minto walked into his suite. John pulled out a seat for her. “Have a seat,” he said.

“Thank you,” said Minto. She then sat down and John sat down in the chair next to her. “So, what’s on your mind?” John asked.

“Well, I’m going to be leaving in a little while,” Minto said.

“Yeah…I know,” John said, sadly.

“You know, before I came here, I was feeling really depressed. Everybody around me had someone to love but me. I came to California because I was hoping I would feel better about myself,” said Minto.

“Do you feel better now?” asked John.

“Well…I feel much happier. But I don’t think it was because of the park,” said Minto. “I think it was meeting you.” John was surprised. “Me?!?” he asked. “Oh come on, I’m no one special.”

“What are you talking about? You’re the Silver Tern! You protect so many people and you helped me from Cream. And even when you’re not, you make people happy. You put smiles on people’s faces. And…and…”

“And what?” John asked.

Minto turned away to hide her blushing face. “You…make me happy,” she said. She then began remembering everything he and she did.

-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-

FLASHBACK ONE…

Ah!” Minto shouted in pain. John ran over to her. “Minto, are you already?” asked John.

It hurts so much!” she said. John grabbed the side of her hair. “Sorry about this,” he said. Minto fell to the ground unconscious, after John knocked her out. Since Deep Blue can’t take control of anything that’s unconscious, the blue marks retreated back into the Aqua Core. John carefully took off Minto’s necklace. “Sorry, but she doesn’t have enough control to handle this kind of power,” John said.

FLASHBACK TWO…

Minto,” said John. “Don’t do it.”

Huh?”

I saw you talking to those two aliens. Don’t do it. Don’t join them or bring the Aqua Core to them. Think about it. You have too many people to disappoint. So what if you’re friends have boyfriends? That doesn’t mean you’re lonely. They still care about you deep down. You’re not alone as you think.”

Yeah,” Minto said. She got a little bit closer and warped her arm around his. “And you’re not alone either,” she said to him. John blushed a little bit. “T-Thanks,” he said. The two walked home with their arms wrapped around each others’ arms.

FLASHBACK THREE…

John was coming out from his suite (a.k.a. his bedroom), wearing strange Adventureland attire. He was humming a song to himself. He turned and saw…Minto Aizawa, standing in the hallway. “Um,” Minto said.

Oh, hey,” John said nervously.

So, today’s your day to be a man in uniform?” Minto asked. “What are you…Indiana Jones?”

Jungle Cruise Skipper,” John relied. “Oh, and about the whole Silver Tern thing…”

It’s okay,” Minto said. “It’s nice to know who has been my protector, protecting me from Cream.”

Well, he’s just another clone of Kish, only even more demented. I’m surprised you don’t think of me as some freak.”

Well…after what you done, what should I call you a freak? I should call you my hero,” Minto said.

You…you do?”

Yeah besides, you have two personalities to deal with. Silver Tern is the side of you who’s brave and heroic, while your real self is the nice and caring one. I can’t really decide which one of you I like. I guess you need both personalities to make up who you are.”

Yeah, I guess,” John said.

FLASHBACK FOUR…

Yeah, Cream murdered my whole family!” John said. Minto was shocked at this. To think that someone like Cream would stoop so low as to kill his own opponent’s family. “And now I miss them everyday of my life,” John said, starting to cry. “My dad, my mom, my little sister, and he was a pain in my ass, but I miss my little brother too! I promise that I’ll avenge them and I would become a success so that my family name wouldn’t be in vain!”

Minto then hugged John into an embrace and he continued to cry softly for his family. Minto couldn’t help but feel sympathic over his problem. “It’s okay,” she said, softly. “Its okay, John. Crying doesn’t make you weak, like what most people say.”

-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-

FLASHBACKS END…

“We did have some good memories,” John said. “Now, it makes me feel real bad that you have to leave.”

“Well, my…mansion is huge,” said Minto. “We have a lot of guest rooms. Moreover, there is a Disneyland in Tokyo. Maybe you can work there.”

“Wait a minute…” said John. “Do…do you want me…to live with you?”

Minto just smiled and continued blushing shades of red. John smiled back at her, but then…the smile disappeared. He stared at the ground. “Minto, don’t get me wrong. I love you,” he said suddenly. Minto was taken back by his last comment. “I think you are the most beautiful girls in the world. But…I can’t go with you,” John said. He got up and pulled the sleeve off his shoulder, revealing his blue alien mark. “This mark, like or not, gives me extraordinary ice powers. I used them to protect a corrupted city, Los Angeles. I help the innocent out, lock the bad people away, and make the place safer to live. I’m at that status where everyone in Los Angeles depends on me. I can’t just bail on them like that. So, I’m sorry Minto.”

Minto was hurt inside. “Well…oh…okay,” said Minto. She turned her face away from him. “I knew you were going to say that. What was I thinking?” asked Minto, cracking up a little bit.

“Minto, don’t cry please,” John said. “It’s bad enough I’m the one who has to do this.”

Minto surprised John when she slammed her hand against the wall. “Damn, I was so stupid!” she shouted. “I was just trying to be like everyone else! And then, when I find someone I love, we can’t even be together!”

“Well, how do you think I feel?!?” asked John. Now he was starting to cry. “I find someone who probably understands me more than anyone else in the world does, and she’s from a different country! I hate how my powers keep me from being with the one I love! Sometimes I wish Cream had never given me these powers!”

The two continued crying to themselves. Then, John got behind her. He slipped something into her hands. “Look, let’s face it. We may never be together, but maybe our minds and hearts will be one. The only way that can happen is if we never forget each other or the memories we share together,” John said.

Minto looked into her hands and saw a folded piece of paper. “Good ahead. It’s a little corny, but I still want you to read it,” John said. Minto then began unfolding the piece of paper. Inside…was a poem.

Sometimes, the world seems unfair…

Bad fortunes will always come to you…

Demons will float around you in your air…

Trying to make you feel blue…

However, no one is at fault…

No one should be blamed…

Your heart will belong in my sacred vault…

My feelings for you remain unnamed…

I will not cry for things of the past…

The happy memories will always last…

Minto began crying even more. “Wow…that was…beautiful,” said Minto.

“I usually hate poetry, but this was a special occasion,” John said.

“I’m sorry. I don’t have anything prepared for you,” Minto said. She then thought of something quick. It wasn’t her own work, but it will do.

Thinking of you, wherever you are…

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend…

Now I will step forward to realize this wish…

And who knows…

Starting a new journey may not be so hard…

Or maybe it has already begun…

There are many worlds, but they share the same sky…

One sky, one destiny…

“Isn’t that from Kingdom Hearts II?” asked John.

“I…I don’t really know any poetry,” said Minto.

“It’s okay. I like that game,” said John.

Minto turned around and locked eyes with John. The two got close together and shared a passionate kiss. As the two kissed, tears began to leak out of their eyes. They were in love…they really were.

Without letting go, Minto slowly walked towards the door. She was able to get it open. The two broke away from each other. “Goodbye John,” Minto said.

“No…it’s not good-bye,” said John. “We’ll meet again.”

“You’ll only forget,” said Minto.

“No I won’t. The memories will always be with me. I mean…you won’t forget me, right?”

“I…I guess you’re right,” said Minto. “I’ll see you again, John.” Minto then closed the door, leaving him by himself.

Outside of his room, Minto collected her bags and began walking back with her friends. Zakuro was waiting for her outside. “So…how did it go?” asked Zakuro.

“Sometimes…it’s hard to say good-bye,” said Minto. “It’s a lot easier to say ‘I’ll see you tomorrow’. Now…let’s go home.”

Zakuro just smiled at her, as they began walking. “I know it’s hard, but I do think you two will see each other again,” she said, hugging Minto closer to her.

EPILOGUE…

-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-

Ichigo Momomiya

Sakura Momomiya was back in her own home, unpacking everything after her Osaka shopping trip. She took out a pair of shoes out of a cardboard box. “Oh…these shoes are so cute!” she said to herself. “I mean, they’re expensive, but they’re worth it!”

Then, she heard the door slam. “Mom, I’m home!” Ichigo shouted. Sakura quickly stowed the shows back in the box and went downstairs to meet her daughter. Ichigo looked like she was exhausted. “Oh…Ichigo,” said Sakura. “How was your vacation?”

“I had better…” she said, wearily. “I’m going to take a hot bath.”

Shintaro then entered the room, also tired. “Hi hon…”

“Don’t ask me how my weekend went,” interrupted Shintaro. “Man, Ichigo’s new boyfriend is a hassle.”

“Oh, you met Kish,” said Sakura. “He’s such a nice boy.”

“Yeah…but I still don’t want him getting too close, if you know what I mean,” Shintaro said. “So…how was your visit to your mother’s? Is she still sick?”

“Oh no! She feels a lot better now!” Sakura said, happily.

“Oh great,” Shintaro said, sarcastically. He then noticed that Sakura was wearing a great outfit. “How I don’t remember you ever wearing that outfit,” said Shintaro.

“Oh…I…umm…found it stuffed in the closet,” Sakura said. Secretly she bought the whole thing in Osaka, and it wasn’t cheap either.

Lettuce Midorikawa

Christmas time was always a busy time for Café Mew Mew, but thankfully, it was now under new management. Lettuce Midorikawa decided to accept Ryou’s offer. While Ryou was busy sorting out the profits, Lettuce made sure everything was running the way it should. She always stood in the center of the café, wearing a professional business suit and keeping her hair back in a ponytail. “Pudding,” Lettuce said. “The line’s getting restless. I was thinking maybe you can go outside and entertain them.”

“Can do!” Pudding said, enthusiastically. She then ran outside in the cold with her props. “Lettuce, is that really a good idea?” Minto asked. “I mean, if she’s busy with that, whose going to handle her customers?”

“You are, of course,” Lettuce said, happily.

“Well, I’m busy testing the tea,” Minto said.

“Oh, here. Let me help you with that,” said Lettuce. She walked up to her seat, took the cup of tea, and drank it all in one huge gulp. Minto was surprised. “There, the tea is gone. So now you can go and help Ichigo with the customers,” said Letttuce. Minto reluctantly agreed.

Pudding Fong

Everything was chaos at Pudding’s house. Now that Choco and Tart were now part of the family, house space has gotten much smaller.

Since Pudding was working at the café, Tart was preparing lunch for her siblings and Choco. After running around frantically, Tart gave everybody at the table a bowl of stew. “Wow, this stuff looks great,” said Honcha.

“I hope you enjoy it!” Tart said, happily. “They better enjoy it. I spend two hours running around getting stuff they like!

Heicha and Choco were seated next to each other. “So, is Choco going to stay here?” Heicha asked.

“I really have no choice,” Choco said. “Noemo’s dead and I have no idea what happened to Cream, so there really is nobody who can look after me.”

“You’re like our house!” Heicha said.

“Yeah, but there will be a time when I have to go back home,” said Choco.

“But…you have no one to turn to. And you’re plant still hates Earth,” said Heicha.

“That’s true…”

Choco was about to eat another piece of meat, but then…he had an idea. “I know what I want to do,” said Choco. “When I get older, I want to bring peace to the two worlds…and I want to do it without using violence.”

“Bring peace?”

“Yeah…you know, make us friends. We shouldn’t be fighting. We tried that for years and it hasn’t worked. Maybe we can work something out.” Heicha just smiled at him. “That would be nice to have more aliens come here.” The two then continued eating.

Zakuro Fujiwara

Zakuro and Pie were at a studio, finishing the summer edition of the magazine. This issue was a bit different. Since the theme of the photos was ‘Summer Beach Time’, most of the pictures were Zakuro lying on the beach, wearing a very skimpy bikini. It was the first time Zakuro did something that…scandalous.

“Well, that went well,” Pie said.

“It’s the first time that I ever showed that much skin,” said Zakuro.

“You have nothing to be embarrassed about. You have a great body.”

“Yeah, but I don’t like the idea that some fanboy is going to…um…never mind. It’s best not to think about it,” said Zakuro.

The two began heading towards a parked limo outside in the back of the studio. “Zakuro,” Pie said.

“Yes? What is it?” Zakuro asked.

“I…I have a Christmas gift for you,” said Pie. “It’s something I planned ahead of time. I hope you like it.”

“What is it?” asked Zakuro.

Just then, a red car pulled up behind the limo. “Ah! Right on time,” said Pie. He walked over to the car and opened the driver’s side door. The passenger side door opened too. Two women came out. One looked like she was in her early 20’s and was dressed like a lawyer. The other was a little more elderly, around her 40’s. Both of them had purple hair.

Zakuro just dropped her things and put her hands over her mouth. “Mom? Ayako?” she asked.

“Hey sis,” said Ayako. “You missed me?” Zakuro just ran up to her mother and hugged her tightly. “Oh god mom! It’s been so long since I saw you!” Zakuro said, starting to cry a little bit. Pie smiled as Zakuro began hugging both her mother and her sister.

Choco and Deep Blue…

After Cream found the Aqua Core necklace in the sewer. He sacrificed his life to let Deep Blue take over his body. Deep Blue was devastated when he found out the news. However, instead of going psycho and attacking every human in his face, he headed back to his planet.

He sat in his throne. He looked over a framed picture of his three sons: Choco, Cream, and Noemo. “My own selfishness…” he said to himself. “I was so absorbed with my mission that it cost my own children’s life. Noemo’s dead, Cream’s dead, Choco…abandoned me.” Out of anger and frustration, Deep Blue slammed the frame against the walls, shattering the glass to pieces. “For once, in my life, the little voices in my head have cleared up. I can think clearly now. But it’s too late for that now,” he continued.

Just then, one of his guards walked into the room. “Um…sir,” he said. “The council wants to know your next plan to take over the Blue Planet.” Deep Blue sat in his throne, sighing. “I don’t even know anymore. Put the plan on hold. I have some thinking that needs to be done.”

AND FINALLY…

Minto Aizawa

Over at Tokyo Disneyland, throngs of people began crowding in the World Bazaar. The nighttime Holiday fireworks were going on. Minto, in her Mew form, was sitting on top of one of the World Bazaar buildings, watching as the fireworks flew high in the air, bursting into many colors and shapes.

Meanwhile, at Disneyland in California, many people were pushing and shoving on Main Street U.S.A. to watch the Holiday fireworks. John, transformed into the Silver Tern, was sitting on top of one of the Main Street buildings. In both parks, everyone was too busy watching the fireworks to notice the two sitting on the buildings.

Silver Tern was using his powers to create a huge block of ice for a special surprise. Both Minto and Silver Tern continued looking up in the air, watching the fireworks. Both of them continued to think about each other. “Oh…I miss John a lot. Nevertheless, I know I will see him again. I bet he’s watching the Christmas fireworks over in his park.

As the fireworks were ending, Silver Tern focused his energy into his fist. “Wait for it,” he said to himself. Once the final fireworks went off, he violently punched the ice block, breaking it to many snowflakes. The wind carried those snowflakes over to the people sitting on Main Street down below. The people and the children were happy when they saw the snowfall.

In Tokyo Disneyland, it began snowing as the fireworks came to an end. Minto began crying when she saw the snowflakes. It reminded her so much of the Silver Tern/John. She began wiping her tears. “I promised myself I wouldn’t cry for him,” said Minto. “He wouldn’t want me to cry.”

As everyone was trying to catch the snowflakes, John, back to a human, stepped outside. The two then looked up through the snow and into the moon. A slow version of White Christmas played in the background as the snow continued falling. Both Minto and John looked up in the sky, remembering their love for each other. John remembers the last line from Minto’s (stolen) poem.

One sky, one destiny…

THE END

A/N: That’s it! That’s the end of ‘Springtime at Disneyland’. It was fun, but I got other projects that I want to get started on.

I really think that the way I ended the Minto x John thing was a pretty sad ending (A/N: I cried just writing it), but in a way, it’s realistic.

Thank you all so much for sticking it out with me these last 26 chapters and leaving reviews. I hoped you enjoyed reading it!
