Black and White

I’m just a single kid

A trickster hero of black and white

They know me as a loose cannon

But I try to do that which is right

And though the dangers are often great,

I’m always up for a fight

Your pain only I understood

So small with powers so great

You deny the darkness deep inside

That growing ball of hate

And when your world comes to its fall

I’ll find you standing at my gate

Your silhouette on my doorstep

Reminds me of a beast right there

Growling beneath my breast.

This dilemma isn’t rare.

But never shall he escape

As long as I have someone to care.
