Just a silly song that I came up with at like, 1 in the morning, lol. I could see one of Jones' crew singing this after having a little too much rum...

Enjoy!

Oh, I've been at sea

Locked in Jones' keep

For nigh a hundred years,

But me faithful bride is still waitin' for me

Just like the ale at the inn!

Oh, if only every man had a bride such as she

Faithful as day and night,

They'd be ruin' the day they ever met Jones

Yo ho, yo ho me mate!

Poor Jones, me lad, would be cursed

Right down to his mangy ol' boots,

An' anyone who jus' caught a glimpse of ye'

Would run away screaming 'Doomsday!'

Oh, if only every man had a bride such as she

Faithful as day and night,

Poor Jones, me mate, would be cursin' his luck

Yo ho, yo ho me lad!

Once he runs to his poor mother,

I'll be free as the sea,

An' I'll return to good Tortuga

An' finally get me darlin's love!

Oh, if only every man had a bride such as she

Faithful as day and night,

They'd be happy as can be,

An' downright lucky to boot!
