Alright my first highschool fanfiction! And it's about one of my favorite couples, Neji and Tenten.

It's about Tenten going to a new school during her Senior year because of her mother's job. And she struggles to make new friends and get through her last year and meet Neji. And I hope you all in enjoy.

Life hates me

Chapter 1: New school, new friends

Tenten groan in the back set of the car as her mother talked on her cell phone. Her mother got a new job at the police department in the city Konoha and had to be their as soon as possible. Tenten would have been happy for her mother that she got a better job in world of crime. But they had to move to a new city because of her stupid new job, and during the beginning of her senior year! How much can a 17 year old suffer!

The brunet looked out the window and watched the trees and houses go by. Well they weren’t really houses, they were more like mansions. She figures that they must be in a rich neighborhood as she recalled her mother telling that their house was close to a rich neighborhood.

The neighborhood was beautiful with fancy white gates and brick walls in the front lawns. Lovely shades of blue, white, peach and little purple colored houses. And beautifully neat gardens outside the homes.

But one house caught her eye as they drove by it. It was probably the most beautiful one that she has seen so far. It was a light blue colored mansion, with beautiful stone wall around it with a giant white gate with huge ‘H’ on it.

Sadly Tenten couldn’t get a better look at the home as they drove away. Soon the houses became small as they entered a normal neighborhood again. Her mother soon pulled up to a driveway as they were now outside their new home. Tenten opened her door and crawled out from the back to only be greeted by the cold winds of October. She shivered a bit as she pulled her coat on and followed her mother up the steps of the house.

The house was a two level one with a nice shade of yellow on it, it also had a decent size front lawn with a driveway, and it came with a nice wide porch where you could lay around on a nice summer day.

At the same time her mother opened the front door the moving truck arrived with all their things. Tenten quickly looked at her watch on her wrist to see that it was 11:56am. They left her old home early this morning around 5am. She let out another groan as the thought of unpacking everything today when she still was tried from this morning.

It was now 8:43pm as she and her mother have been unpacking all day and having dinner now. Well if you called pizza being delivered dinner, then yes.

“Now Tenten, remember that tomorrow is your first day at school so you should get a good night sleep tonight.” Her mother said as she throws the pizza box away.

“What about by car?” Tenten asked as she didn’t want to be driven to school on her first day by her mom.

“I think it well be here in three or four days I believe.” Her mother answered from the kitchen.

Tenten groaned again as she now had to walk to school now. A yawn escaped her lips as she felt very sleep now.

“Well I guess I better it the hay, night mom!” Tenten shouted as she walked up the stairs.

“Do you need a ride to school dear?” Her mother shouted from the kitchen.

“No! I’m fine I’ll walk, night!” Tenten quickly closed her door to her room and let out sigh.

She slowly walked over to her bed as she dodged the many boxes on the floor. As soon as she reached the foot of her bed, she fell on it and soon drifted off to sleep.

Tenten’s eyes shat open as she heard the dreadful sound of her alarm clock next to her head. She quickly shut it up and sat up and looked to see what times it was, it 7:01am. She had to be at school in 35 minutes! And she had to walk there to! Quickly she jumped out of her bed and ran to the bathroom and jumped in the shower.

After taking a shower and brushing her teeth, the brunet ran to her room with a towel around her body as she tried to put her hair in two buns. Her towel dropped to the ground as she ran to her dresser and pulled out a pair of blue jeans, a light blue t-shirt and jean jacket.

She ran down the stairs as she pulled her jacket on and headed in the kitchen. Grabbing an apple from the bowel on the table and her keys, she ran out the front door.

Dashing down the street Tenten looked at her wrist watch to see that it was 7:27am. She was going to be late on her first day. But luck was on her side as she saw the school coming into view. Using all her might she was on school grounds as the bell went off. She cheered a bit in her head as she made it on time to school.

She jogging up the steps of the school and opening the front doors to be greeted by the sight of kids going to their classes. Ignoring the stares from the other kids, Tenten quickly made her way to the school office.

Luckily it wasn’t that hard to find the offices as it was pretty close to the school entrances. Tenten hesitated at first as she stands in front of the office door before she went in. Shaking her head Tenten opened the office door and stepped inside.

She looked around the room to see that it was a simple office nothing special. Slowly she walked to the front desk to see a woman with black hair behind it.

“Umm, excuse me.” Tenten spoke as the woman raised her head and smiled at her. “I’m new here and my name is Tenten.”

“Oh yes Tenten, I do believe I have your classes here.” The woman smiled as she handed Tenten her schedule. “My name is Shizune and if you have any questions come and see me.”

“Thank you.” Tenten smiled and left as she looked at her first class.

‘English, oh joy my favorite class.” Tenten thought as she let out a sigh.

Tenten looked over at the rest of the classes and didn’t notice someone bump into her and drop all of her things and the person’s.

“I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking were I was look.” Tenten said in a panic voice as she quickly gathered her things.

The only reply she got from the other person was grunt as he/she stood up with his/hers stuff. Once she had all of her things she looked up to see a boy with long dark brown hair white eyes glaring at her a bit. He wore dark blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a black vest over it the shirt.

“Just don’t let it happen again.” He said in a cold voice as he walked past her.

Tenten slowly stood up and watched the boy with white eyes disappear around the corner. She couldn’t help but blush a bit in embarrassment as she acted like a fool in front of him. The bell rang again as she woke up from her daydream and started to run to her first class. It seems that all she has been doing is being late and running.

Finally she arrived at her English class to see that the teacher wasn’t here yet. She soon felt the eyes of the other kids on her but ignored their stares as she looked for an empty seat. She walked over to an empty chair next to the window as the other kids went back to talking with their friends. Placing her bag next her chair she looked out the window to watch the leaves fall off the trees.

“E-Excuses m-me.”

Tenten looked next to her at source of the voice to see a girl with long dark blue hair and white eyes like the boy she ran into earlier. She wore a pink skirt that cute above the knees, a white shirt with a pair of angel wings and halo on it and wore a blue sweater over it.

“Y-Your new here a-aren’t y-you.” The girl shuttered.

“Yeah, my name is Tenten.” Tenten smiled and stuck out her hand.

“I-I’m Hinata.” Hinata took her hand shook it with a smile.

“It’s nice to meet you Hinata.” Tenten took her hand back but kept her smile.

“I-I hope y-you l-like it h-here.” said Hinata.

“I do to.” said Tenten.

The two girls quickly became friends as they talked for the next 15 minutes until the teacher arrived. Everyone quickly returned to their seat as the teacher walked over to his desk.

Tenten looked over at the teacher and thought he was quite handsome with mask over his face.

“Sorry I’m late class, but on my way here I found this litter of puppies on the stre-YOU ALREADY TOLD US THAT!!” the whole class cut him off.

Tenten let out a giggle as she saw the look on the teachers face. But the silver haired man heard her was at her desk in a minute.

“I believe I never seen you here before.” said the teacher.

Tenten quickly stopped giggle and just blushed embarrassment. Quickly she looked through her bag and pulled out a piece of paper and handed to the teacher. The teacher looked over it and then smiled.

“Class we have a new student joining us. Would you place stand up and tell us your name and about your self.” said the teacher.

Tenten did as she was told and stood up from her seat.

“Well, my name is Tenten I just moved here, I like to swim and I love to researcher different kinds of weapons and learn there history.” She spoke.

“Thank you Tenten and I’m Kakashi, your English teacher for this year.” Kakashi smiled as he returned to his desk.

Tenten took her seat again as Kakashi started the lesson.

The bell rang as everyone hurried out of English and to their next class. Tenten and Hinata walked out of English together and started heading down the hall.

“What class do you have next?’ Hinata asked without shuttering.

Tenten pulled out her schedule and looked over it.

“I have science.” Tenten spoke.

“Oh, you have the same period as Ne-“ Hinata quickly placed her hand over her mouth.

“Who do I have the same period with?” The brunette raised an eyebrow.

“N-No one! I just have math next.” Hinata changed the topic.

“That’s too bad.” Tenten frowned.

“But I think we have history together.” The white eyed girl said with a smile.

“That’s true.” Tenten smiled again.

“Well I need to go Tenten and just a heads up the science teacher is really creepy and mean.” Hinata said as she started heading down a different hall. “I’ll see you in history.”

“See you then.” Tenten waved as she watched her new friend disappear.

Luckily for Tenten her next class was not to far from English. Inside the classroom was pretty dim and surprisingly neat for science.

“You must be the new blood.”

Tenten shivered as a creepy voice came from behind her. Slowly she turned around to be greeted by a very pale looking man with golden eyes and long black hair.

“I’m Orochimaru, your science teacher.” The pale man said.

“Y-Yeah, I’m Tenten.” She shuttered a bit.

“Well then, please take a seat next to Mr. Hyuuga over there.” Orochimaru pointed to an empty seat.

Tenten nodded her head and quickly made her way to the seat that Orochimaru assigned her to. As she made her way to her seat, she didn’t notice the same boy that she bumped into earlier was sitting next to her.

“Alright class let’s begin. We are going to dissect frogs today.” He said with a smirk as all the kids groan. “We are going to partner up to. Now here are pairings…”

Tenten listen to the list of names and tried to figure out who was who. But she was a bit surprise when her name was called out.

“…And last Tenten and Neji.” The teacher finished up.

Tenten blinked several times and realized that Neji was the same boy that she bumped into earlier. She smiled nervously at Neji and gave him a small wave but he ignored her. Soon Orochimaru past out the dead frogs and told that what they were going to do. He gave the frog to Neji and placed it in between him and Tenten.

“Alright class before we begin I want to make something clear.” The pale man said as he returned to his desk. “If I find any kind of filth in your area, you well have detention before you can even spell it!”

The whole class froze in fear at the wrath of Orochimaru, except Neji as he was a pretty clean person himself. Tenten gulped and turn her gaze to the dead frog in the pan. She watched Neji grab a small knife and hovered it over the frog.

“Do we have to do this. It just doesn’t seem right.” Tenten whispered but Neji heard it.

“If you want to pass, now please be quiet. I’m trying to focus here.” Neji said in a harsh voice.

“Well you don’t have to be so mean about it.” She mumbled under her breath.

But Neji ignored her as he slowly cut open the frog. Tenten was so gross out by this that she closed her eyes and let Neji do the work. She tried her best to block out an image that they were doing this do a frog that was alive, and also blocking out the sound of the frog. Ribbit… ribbit… ribbit… ribbit… ribbit…

“Ribbit.”

Tenten screamed and scared Neji as he hit the pan with frog in it all over their table and the floor. Tenten knocked Neji and her to the floor and were covered in the frogs organs. Normally Tenten would have been really gross out by this, but she was to embarrass that she was lying on top of Neji’s strong chest.

Orochimaru walked up to the two and glared at them. If there was on thing that he hated was that people broke his rules.

“You two, detention after school!” the teacher shouted.
