Author's Note: Inspired by Tonic's song, "If You Could Only See," which, to me, has always seemed to be a great Remus/Tonks song.

There are exactly three people in the world who know that Tonks’ eyes are naturally as blue as the morning sky (or that her hair is naturally as golden as her aunt Narcissa’s): her mother, her father, and the love of her life. It’s understandable that her parents know, but as for the last one, he knows because, well, he is the love of her life. And no matter what colour she’s made her eyes (she’s particularly fond of grey-green), when she tells him that she loves him, her eye colour becomes real.

And he loves who she really is.
