I am so sorry guys; I won’t be able to update Shadow Bond for awhile. ‘Cause I can only sneak on at night and it’s so hard to type in the dark, let along read and type at the same time. So I decided to do a story off the top of my head instead of written on paper.
First of all I’d like to say a few things... OMG Evanescence actually came to Vancouver! It was so AWESOME! hyperventilates. And my mom is so cool, she even bought the tickets when she knew I had a piano exam the very next morning. And she got me a T-Shirt and a necklace. My mom rules!
Second… Wait, I forgot what I was going to say… Anyways, on with the new story!
Disclaimer: I don’t own Teen Titans. All I own are my 3 measly retainers and my pea sized brain.
Oh, on another note, I got and idea from a good internet friend and FFN writer, TenshiJaki, to put interesting quotes in each chapter.
… OMG! I just remembered what the second point was! I’m currently writing a story called, “Sir Roth” and I’m hoping to get it published someday. Wish me luck people!
And I think I’m going to try a romance story this time. Odd, seeing as today’s Valentines Day, and I hate Valentines Day…
Oh! I need a title for this! First person to think of an appropriate title will win a free Teen Titans One shot by me!
Also the charactors will be OOC in this chapter, so please don't complain. It's just a badly written prologue that just kicks off the story in the direction I want it to go.

Garfield Logan was bored. There wasn’t much to do nowadays. Well… there wasn’t much for him to do. Villains continued to attack Jump City, only to be taken down by the new heroes. They called themselves the ‘New Titans’. Garfield grumbled, it wouldn’t have been like this if they hadn’t had that dispute 7 years before. The argument was huge, and created a rift between the lot of them, causing each to go a separate way. It was sad, but it happened nevertheless.
Now he spent his time researching about animals, it was interesting at first, but soon, it grew boring. He, of course, hid his true skin colour by modifying one of Cyborg’s old holographic rings. He wasn’t as stupid as he looked. He still wished he was back at the tower. He remembered the last time he’d seen his closest friends, as clearly as it happened yesterday.
Robin slammed his fist on the table.
“Tell me why we let him get away again? Why did Slade get away!?”
BeastBoy hung his head in shame; Starfire looked at Robin sadly; Cyborg avoided eye contact with the leader; and Raven continued to read from the thick tome in her arms.
“I’ll tell you why.” Robin continued when he got no reply, “It’s because you don’t try hard enough to take him down!”
Raven slammed her book closed, “Us?” She said, trying to keep her voice under control, “Why is it us? Whatever happened to you!?”
“Last time I checked, I was doing a damn good job at being a leader. It’d make my job easier if you lot did your share better.”
“Better? How do you know our limits? What if what we have given you is our best?”
“Well I know it isn’t, so there isn’t a ‘what if’!”
“How do you know?”
“How many times have you guys sat here and do nothing when you could be training? Getting better?”
“I’m sorry that I have to meditate to keep myself from blowing up the entire damn world!”
BeastBoy, who was cowering in fear, spoke up, “Well, you are reading right now.”
“Did I ask your opinion!?”
The green boy was taken aback by her sudden outburst towards him. He recovered quickly, and countered, getting angry himself. “You know what? Why are you always so rude to me treating me like and idiot?”
“Because you are one!”
“Well if you think I’m an idiot, then I think you’re a cold hearted b-!”
“This isn’t your argument. I’m criticizing Robin on his claim, and his very unbecoming behaviour as a leader.”
“I’m a fine leader, thank you very much!”
“I don’t care about you Robin! I’m sick of the way Raven treats me! She treats me like dirt!”
“Friends, do not bicker so! This is not helping!”
“The way I treat you!? You deserve it! You’re a nuisance; you never leave me alone, not taking any hints; and you do the stupidest things.”
“This is not an argument about how you treat each other. It’s the fact that you don’t work hard enough as a team to take down Slade.”
“Slade, Slade, Slade, that’s all I hear. Shut up Robin this is between me and Raven.”
“That’s it! That’s enough! If that is how you feel, I will leave then!”
And with that last comment, Raven disappeared in a wave of dark magic. Taking with her, every last bit of evidence that she ever lived in Titans Tower.
The room was silent for awhile until Starfire broke into tears. Robin moved in to comfort her, but she ran away to her room to cry.
“Great, now look what you’ve done.” Scowled Robin.
“Me!?” BeastBoy screamed back, “You started it!”
“Well, you didn’t have to butt in!”
“Well I did! Now it’s come to this! You know what? I think I’ve had enough too. I’m leaving.”
“But you can’t-”
“I can, and I will.”
… And he did…
Last he heard, after he’d left Starfire broke down and returned to Tamaran in tears. Cyborg and Robin split up, having decided that a 2 person team wasn’t going to cut it. And that was the last that was ever heard of from the original Titans.
A few months later, a group of adults calling themselves the New Titans took over, building a new base somewhere underground, and taking up the duties the Titans had abandoned.
Garfield sighed, and continued with his notes. There were days where he wished he could take back everything he’d said. To turn back time, to turn everything back the way it was. But that was not to be. What’s done is done, and it was too late to go back…
Short chapter I know, but I'm typing the dark and trying to find the right keys.
Not much to say except read and review… Please…
