Irony

Naruto couldn't help but smile. He didn't believe it! He was going to be able to make his lovers' dream come true! He had to rush home and tell him the good news. "I can't wait to see the look on his face!" He said to himself giddely(1). He ran, not caring about the villagers throwing dirty glares, or their hatred. Right now it didn't matter, all he knew is that he had to get home and tell him. He continued to run, until he saw the Uchiha compound(2).

flashback:

Naruto stared at Tsunade worriedly. He had been sick lately and it had worried him. He thought it perhaps it had something to do with Kyuubi. He wondered what Tsunade was thinking as she ran chakra through him. She stopped suddenly, at his stomach, and smiled. "Well, I know the problem." She said happily. Naruto raised an eyebrow at her. "And...?" Her grin widened. "Your pregnant."

"...NANI!?!?!!1"

The grin persisted.

"How?!"

Tsunade smiled softly, amusment obviously in her eyes. "Kyuubi is a female fox, and she is able to make it happen. Aren't you happy?"

Naruto blinked and smiled sheepishly. "Yeah...just suprised."

Tsunade smiled, before her expression turned grim. "But, there could be reprecussions. Because, afterall, it's highly uncommon (and unheard of) for a male to be pregnant. It could endanger yours' and the babys' health. And the baby won't nessicarily survive this. Are you willing to go through with this?"

Naruto nodded without second thought. "Of course! Sasukes' dream was to revive his clan and I've always wanted a family. This is perfect." Naruto smiled.

Tsunade nodded, inwardly thinking 'I'm gonna have grandchildren!'. "Well, you better go tell him!"

Naruto got up and walked out at a quick pace. "Bye Tsunade-baba!"

Naruto dodged a stapler..

end flashback

He grinned as he went in, too excited to take off his sandals. He saw Sasukes' door closed but paid no heed as he burst in.

"Sasuke! I'm preg-..."

He cut himself off at what he saw. Sasuke was inside Sakura. They both stared at him with wide eyes.

"Naruto I-"

"No! You don't have to explain."

"I needed to revive my clan! I love you, but..."

Naruto couldn't help but to laugh at the irony.

He turned and ran.

He ran until he was out of breath and found himself on top of Hokage Mountain. On top of Yodaimes head. He finally let himself cry.

Sasuke stared where Naruto had just disappeared and cursed. "...I-I better go." He heard Sakura mumble. He just nodded, never taking his eyes off that spot. He got up after she left and quickly got dressed, off to find his dobe. He just hoped Naruto wouldn't hate him.

Naruto stared down at the village as he cried, everything looking blurry. His chest hurt and his eyes burned, and he felt sick. He closed his eyes and let his thoughts flow and linger. Cheating lover, everyones' hatred, Akatsuki still after him, too much pain... He stared down again, seeing a blur running forward. He frowned.

Sasuke had looked almost everywhere. Next was Hokage Tower. He burst in, ignoring those around him until he crashed through the door to her office. "Hokage-sama! Have you seen Naruto?" Tsunade frowned. "Why? What's wrong? Did he tell you?" Sasuke blinked. "Tell me what?" Her gaze burned through him as she stared at him calculatingly. "He ran straight home to tell you...What'd you do?"

Sasuke bit his lip lightly as he stared right back. "What did he want to tell me?" he practically growled. "That he's pregnant."

Sasuke ran.

He ran out of the tower and would have continued if he hadn't seen that dot of orange on Yondaimes' head. His eyes widened, and he started to run up the moutain.

Naruto saw Sasuke running up to him and smiled. He put his hand to his stomach and murmured apologies before looking straight forward and stepping closer to the edge of the moutain. Sasuke was closer now and Naruto could make out his scared features. "Naruto! I'm sorry! I didn't know! I'm so sorry, please forgive me!

Naruto stared before smiling one of his smiles that didn't reach his eyes.

"Aishiteru Sasuke..."

Naruto jumped.

Sasuke screamed.
