Hayner and Roxas took me shopping to get a different outfit. I liked my original one… Hayner had Olette fix my hair so it looked like Riku’s but I hated it. I tied it into a pony tail as a compromise.

And then as the sun moved into it’s showing of it’s soon to be night, Hayner left Roxas and I alone in Riku’s apartment. The silence was almost deafening.

“Roxas…”

‘Shut up…’

“Roxas, you can’t shut things up. You can only shut them down.”

‘Axel…’ He looked up at me. I looked back at him. We stood there for a few moment before I moved to bring him close. ‘Don’t.’

“Give me a good reason.”

‘I don’t love you.’

“….” That was a good reason…. He probably loved Riku. Irony. Dramatic painful irony. I backed away from him.

‘Besides. Riku loves Sora. And You.’ He pointed at me. ‘Should love him too.’

“I could never love him!! Not after what he’s done!! God I don’t want this fight…” I sat down on the bed. Roxas looked at me confused. I sighed and told him. Everything. He walked over to me and pulled my head to his chest whispering apologizes that would fall on the wrong ears. Apologizes that weren’t his to give.

“You are your own person Roxas. You’re not Sora.” He sat down next to me.

‘Axel…’

“You have a heart Roxas. Don’t you feel it?” I looked at him. He gave a nod. “So you can find your own ways to get your voice back.”

‘And how do you suggest that? Decadence--’

“Find Nex. We need to find Nex. He could help.” I stood. “I think he can help.”

‘Nex?’

“The boy who saved Riku.”

Roxas and I split up to search the city. Currently I stood on the clock tower. Only place I could of think of the boy would be.

Granted that was as Riku, and I am far from Riku.

“Axel?” I turned. A black haired boy stood. Jackpot.

“Nex. I remember you from being Riku.” I smirked at him.

“Why are you out?! Does.. Does that mean Riku…” He looked as if he was going to break down and cry.

“Nex what do you know of Decadence?” I seem to be winning the bonus round. He froze in his spot at the name.

“Decadence…. Is a heartless…” He whispered.

“Ah ha he’s like Xehanort hmm?” I walked over to him. “And how exactly could he take someone’s voice?”

“I don’t know…”

“Could you reverse it?”

“What?! I don’t have that ability!!”

“But you’re a Nobody. You surely could do something.”

“What about you?! You’re one too!!” 7...7...7!! Whoo I won the big pot.

“Ah ha…. So you are a Nobody.” He gasped and backed up a little.

“How did you--”

“Besides you just telling me, you have no heart pattern.” I pointed at his chest. “Are you Decadence’s Nobody?”

“I don’t know who’s nobody I am… I don’t have any memories.” I could pity him if I cared.

“Well you’re coming with me so let’s go.” I grabbed his arm. He started to protest but like I gave a damn. “You’re coming with, got it memorized?” I snapped at him and he calmed down. “You’re a nobody stop acting like you feel.”

“You’re a hypocrite! You pretend to have feeling all the time!!”

“…..” I looked at him over my shoulder. I shook my head and continued to drag him back to Riku’s.

‘Axel!!’ Roxas ran over to me as I threw Nex to the bed.

“Fix him.” I pointed to Roxas.

“Did I hurt a nerve Axel?”

“I said fix him.” Roxas looked between us then stared at me. Nex growled a little and it just made me laugh. “Fix. Him.”

“No.”

“Nex… don’t make me beat you. Fix Roxas.”

“….” Nex stood up and grabbed Roxas’s throat. I growled and went to attack Nex only to be knocked into the wall. I shook my head and looked up slightly dazed. He let go of Roxas and all I could do was gawk as he fell to the floor.

“There. Be happy.”
