Disclaimer:I don’t own Sailor Moon. This story is a bit different from the way I usually write stories. Serena is a high school senior living on her own and Darien Shields is a new teacher at her high school. Chemistry builds up as the two find out secrets about one another, some secrets should be kept quiet, while others, well how can you keep quiet? Read and find out.

A/N: As much as this pains me and possibly the rest of you, this is the last and final chapter of Unfinished Hearts. All good things must come to an end and I believe this was one of my best stories. Thank you all for being very supportive. And now, I give you the last chapter of Unfinished Hearts. And no, this time there is no song in the beginning, just the story. And just a reminder, this chapter takes place roughly a few weeks AFTER the prologue. It doesn't continue with the other chapters. Remember the prologue, this is afterwards.

Epilogue:
Unfinished Hearts to a Complete Love”

It was the weekend, which meant that the couple could go out and enjoy themselves. Of course, they always enjoyed themselves no matter where they were. He led his wife into the new opening gallery. After receiving a program paper from the greeter, Darien Shields held onto his wife's hand and led her through the halls. Serena glanced at the walls that held many paintings and portraits. Darien never let go of her hand or her for the matter. After the news she had given him, he hadn't been able to keep his eyes away from her. While she liked the attention, it was getting a little out of hand. But hey, that's how father's to be act. Serena smiled as she viewed the art that hung from the walls. She hadn't been to an art gallery, well once in Italy. Darien walked with his beautiful wife and looked at the paintings she found interesting.

“Are you all right?”

“I am fine. Everything is fine” she assured him.

“Do you want water? Or anything?”

“Darien, for God's sake, I'm fine. Stop worrying yourself” Serena said as calmly as she could. She couldn't blame the guy for being so worried.

“I'm just making sure you are all right. You know how I am with you” Serena smiled and planted a small kiss on his lips.

“You are so cute. Oh, look at this one” Serena pointed to one particular painting. It looked familiar. It was a drawing of a woman sitting on a fountain. It was very detailed, the woman was, but the fountain and everything else faded into the background. She looked at the information that was typed to the bottom of the frame.

Unfinished Heart to a Complete Love. Though the artist is anonymous, it was said that he had drawn this woman sitting at the fountain in the middle of Italy. The artist also claimed the woman had an unfinished heart and could not complete it until she had found the other piece. After finding it, he was able to finish the woman but left everything in the background undone.

“Why does that look a little like you?” Serena didn't hear Darien. It was the same drawing she had seen from the artist in Italy. There was no name. Of course, nobody would really know that it was her in the drawing. She smiled.

“What did you say?”

“That looks a little like you, don't you think?”

“I can't really tell. It's really beautiful though.”

“You're really beautiful” Serena smiled as she walked with her husband away from the drawing. Serena looked back once again to the drawing. It was a beautiful drawing. Remembering Italy, high school, and the years without Darien, she never figured that she was unfinished. But now, she was complete. Darien and she had married and now, she was pregnant. Only a couple of weeks, but she was more complete than ever. Darien was more than thrilled. She had gone to college, same college that he had taught, but never took classes with him. She did some time as his teaching assistant, which made her smile every time he started lecturing his students. It was like a flashback from when they first met. Of course, he had gotten himself into much trouble one day.

Turned out, he still had one of her poems, the very poem that she had gotten angry with him for reading in front of her class. He read it again to his college students. He had said that he couldn't let that particular poem go unannounced. Serena was still mad at him, but she couldn't stay mad for long. They were going to be a family soon, and Darien spared no time in finding names and certain themes for the nursery that he wanted to make.

Andrew and Rita were the first, after Darien, to find out that Serena was expecting a baby. Rita screamed with delight and Andrew sighed. The last thing he wanted was a little short version of Darien running around. Who knew what kind of damage the child would do. Darien threatened to tell Travis, the gay guy from college he had kissed, that Andrew was available. Darien kept his word. Whenever Molly and Serena wanted to spend time together, he would arrange for a flight and a room just for her. Molly had more respect for Darien than she did before. She saw how Darien was always making Serena happy and that was what she wanted. Serena named Molly the godmother of her child, which Molly more than happily accepted.

Serena shook her head and looked away from the drawing. Darien never left her side, but his mind was occupied with a different painting. Either way, she wasn't unfinished anymore and neither was Darien.

“Serena?” he called to her. She turned to her husband.

“Yes?”

“What about Willow for a girl?” Serena smiled.

“I do like that one. What made you think of that?” Darien was pointing to a painting of a willow tree. She smiled.

“I like it. Sounds great.” Darien smiled and pulled his wife to him for a kiss. The couple walked around the gallery looking at different drawings, paintings, pastels, whatever was shown. Yes, everything was complete. From an unfinished heart, to a complete love, the couple smiled.

THE END

Yes, it is short, just like the prologue. Anyway, this comes to an end for this story. I would like to thank every one of you for your kind words and your support. I couldn't have done it without all of you and you are all great. Anyway, enjoy this chapter and if you feel like it, read the story again. LOL. So, with this last note, I end this story Unfinished Hearts on 12/02/07. Thank you all once again.
