Tales of the Chocobo Kind

By: Ame Shizuka

Hi! If you don’t already know me, I’m Ame Shizuka, the authoress of The Best Org. XIII High school fic EVER (If you like KH high school fics, check it out) and Everybody Hates Roxas. I have another one! I’m already on chapter six for this one. My favorite is chapter four; I think it’s the funniest. I started this one with script form but only for that scene. The rest of it will be regular. Well, on with the fic!

Cloud: What about the disclaimer?

Ame Shizuka: Fine. You do it!

Cloud: Ame Shizuka does not own Final Fantasy VII

Chp. 1 Death of Chocobo Bill

(A/N: Remember only this tiny part is in script form. Everything else is regular!!!!)

Billy: No Grandpa! You can’t die, not now!

Chocobo Bill: Sorry sonny, but an old geezer like me has got to die someday, and that some day is today.

Billy: But Grandpa! Who will take care of the farm?

Chocobo Bill: My will’s right there. points to will sitting on counter

Billy: Grandpa nooooo!!!!!!!!!

Chocobo Bill: I’m gonna die… dies

Billy: YESSSSS!!!!! The farm’s all mine now! opens will and quickly reads

Will reads: I, Chocobo Bill give my farm to the man who’s head resembles a chocobo’s: Cloud Strife. (A/N Me and my explanations)

Billy: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Nibelheim Cloud Strife sat on the sofa of his childhood home, watching the Shinra morning news on his T.V. He drank his morning coffee as he watched about the death of Chocobo Bill. Apparently, his grandson, Billy, was hoping to inherit the farm, but lost it to someone else.

“So Billy”, the newswoman started, investigating the situation, “how does it feel to have your life’s desire taken away from you?”

“Well, I’ve loved chocobos all my short little life. I loved feeding them, brushing them, washing them, and even picking up the poo! And now that I can’t help out anymore I just want to kill the gork (combination of “geek” and “dork”) who stole it from me!!”

“Exactly who was that?”

“A man by the name of Cloud Strife.”

Cloud abruptly spit out the coffee he was currently drinking, dampening the T.V., rug, and coffee table. “WHAT!?”

“Yeah,” Billy continued, “the only reason he got it is because his head looks like a chocobo’s head!”

Cloud dropped the coffee mug and started choking. It was too much too handle. He turned off the television and continued his cough attack; but was soon interrupted by Tifa, who slammed the door open and let herself in.

“Cloud, Cloud!” she yelled as she ran towards him then tripped on the coffee mug, breaking it in half. “You’ve got to read this!”

She reached out and handed him a small pile of envelopes and pointed out to read the top one. Cloud soon realized, it was his mail. “What are you doing reading my mail?” he asked as he eyed her wierdly.

She got up. “Umm, um, well I… felt a disturbance, uh, coming from your mailbox, so I, uh, went to see what it was!”

“Right…” he said then opened a small piece of paper. That paper was Chocobo Bill’s will. “Well talk about a disturbance! It is true!”
Cloud was silent for a few moments thinking about himself, he Great Cloud, riding a Great Chocobo, followed by a million little chocobos as they roamed the planet and invaded the Lifestream… “Cloud?” Tifa said, trying to get him back into reality. “Cloud?” she asked again. “CLOUD!” she repeated but added a kick to the shin, unknowingly leaving a bruise.

“AH!” he yelled and started to cry, lately he’s sorta let himself go.

“Cloud!”

“WHAT IS IT TIFA?!” he asked with annoyance.

“Sheesh, I just wanted to ask you what you’re answer is?”

“For what?”

“What do you think for what!”

“Oh, the farm.” He thought for a moment. Think about the Great Cloud thing again. “Well sign me up!”

“Can I help?”

“Off course!” (A/N I meant to do that. FYI, it’s a typo in the game when battling in Battle Square.)

“Yay!” Tifa declared with glee. “Hey,” Tifa happily added, “why don’t we have Aeris, Zack, Yuffie, Vincent, and everybody else help us out?”

“That’ll make it even better!”

So they both did the hoe-down around the broken coffee mug and did the ring around a rosie, not knowing that they will soon be stuck on a chocobo farm caring for chocobo’s with a lot of other idiots.

On the next chapter of Tales of the Chocobo Kind: Cloud and Tifa try to convince Avalanche to help them with the Chocobo farm. Aeris is open minded, Zack is a bit paranoid, Vincent’s O.K. with it, Yuffie TOO excited, Barret’s suspicious, and Cid’s just being really stubborn.

Thank you for reading! Please review! The more reviews requesting I update real soon, the faster I’ll update! It’s all up to YOU to review, since I already have the next chapter written. And for those who aren’t a member at this site, you can still review! It will have to be an anonymous review, but you can still contribute!
