I dunno if there are any fics with this pairing, but I claim the first Edo x Mizuchi! (Is that her name? Sorry but I will be using Japanese names but I don't know them all.) Edo and Mizuchi are attending Duel Academia.

For those of you who just want the sad part, just go to the final chapter. The rest of the story is just happy-go-lucky high school life.

Rain splattered on the windows. Thunder boomed high in the sky.

It was miserable outside, and the weather was affecting the students as well as the teachers. Well, Cronos was always cranky…

The weather was horrible, and if you took a step outside, you would slip and everyone would laugh at your muddy backside.

Ryo chuckled. The Osiris students had a washroom outside… so if they went to the showers, then they would have to take another one when they stepped out to go back to the dorm.

Classes had been canceled because of the weather condition, and students were forbidden to step outside. (Poor Osiris students…)

Everyone was going cranky. (Don’t you, if you get cooped up in a boring old dorm all day?)

Edo paced back and forth through his room. (I think he’s going mad…)

Then, he started banging his head on his wall for no apparent reason.

Ryo, who was in the room next to his, came in, disrupted by the noise.

“What the heck are you doing?” he asked.

“Nothing.” Edo stopped banging his head against the wall and sat cross-legged on his bed. He picked up a book and started reading.

“Ok…” Ryo went back to his room after seeing what book he had chosen.
