Hello readers. This is the prologue (I always have to put one in) for my new story Pikmin: Fire in the Sky. Please read, review, and enjoy.

PIKMIN: FIRE IN THE SKY

Prologue

They left before the bulborbs took it. The great fortress of Min. A monument to the greatness of red Pikmin. And yet they fled. Their womin and children, warriors and old min.

All evacuated the great city of Min for an unknown reason.

Uite was their leader. He enacted the plan. He had killed Kraks.

The plan was to leave the Northlands forever. And so they fled to the west of Harwaith. Over the mountains to the ocean.

Waiting there was a fleet of ships. The red Pikmin had conquered their fear of the water.

The red Pikmin boarded the ships and headed west, to the unknown and a new home.

The years went by and the Northlands once again became a rich and wonderful place. Until that day.

It came from the sky with a trail of fire behind it. Scholars immediately identified it with the strange craft Olimar came in.

The Northlands prepared for war when they heard the ship had landed in the Awakening Wood.

News came from there. The entire population had been enslaved by one the size of a Pikmin. He was said to resemble Olimar and he carried the tool of enslavement.

A whistle. With it he conquered Harwaith to search for his treasures and he drove out the snowy bulborbs. Then the Enslaver moved onto Taugan and took that as well. The Wistful Wild was next and it fell just as easy. Iuhd resisted for a few weeks before it followed the other countries.

In the course of three months the free Pikmin kingdoms of the Northlands had fallen.

The Enslaver now heads south to the Southlands with army of slaves. The Pikmin must unite or they will fall. But no one is strong enough to grasp the mantle of leader.

And so the Pikmin world spirals into darkness.

But a light of hope shines from a group of islands across the ocean. The red Pikmin finally have a chance to redeem themselves.

This is where the story begins.
