Down in the Old Mansion, there was an eerie sense to everything. The place musty, dry air and the wet wall made the place seem like a haunted Mansion none the less. In the deepest parts of the Mansion, foot steps could be heard. Down in the Basement Corridors a man in a black coat, tall and hidden within the hood stepped quickly though the halls, keeping an eye out for any suspicious activities. He was asked to come here many times but was unable due to all the activities before hand and was sent here today, instead of watching after the one he really wanted to see. Diz had yelled at him for a while until the Organization finally let him go to check on the child. He kept walking past empty pods, large flower like structures that people could be held in. He walked down the hall way more slowly, this time cautious about what lay ahead; anything could come at any moment. Everything was that of a metallic color, shining in what little light shown in the halls, The pods were dull, not having that glossy surface of the walls, the pods where wrapped up tightly and stood in rows along the corridors, but unlike the pods on the other side of the Mansion, these ones held no living creature. On the other side, held three close friends of the man in the hood, one of them he knew for most of his life and the other two were mere companions of his friend, but he cared for them just the same.
The hooded man slowly opened the door leading to the room he was meant to go in, keeping it a crack open while quietly observing its insides. The walls were that of white, a hazy like fog surrounded the pod, making the corners of the room invisible and made it seem like one large sphere. It was almost like that of a cozy area, giving comfort to that which lay inside. He slowly walked into the room, it was quite. The man slowly pulled out an oddly shaped weapon, watching for creatures of the Heartless as well as his kind, and just then, multiple dusks came out of thin air and began to attack him. He counted them, twenty, not forty of them, coming all at once, but yet he stood there, watching them approach and once they were all in range, he took a swing at them. He dashed one direction, then the other, and just as quickly they had appeared, they were gone. He stood without a scratch on himself, and sighed realizing it only took three hits to kill them all. He had no idea what he was sent here for, or what he might actually find, but he had some kind of idea. He knew it had to do with another being that the leader wanted, but for what he couldn’t figure out.
The man continued towards the center of the room where the great pod lay, holding inside what only the leader knew, but why would there be so much trouble just to keep this one a secret? There was something about it, as he stood there for a while staring at the flower shaped pod, and it made him feel really uneasy. Something about this made him think that there was more trouble in for him then just watching over it. There was a computer off to the side of the pod, showing information on the occupant inside, he read it. But something about it bemused him, this one was female, and she inhabited no name. Who was she? He whipped away the year’s worth of frost covering the pod and looked inside, the women floated, her long hair covering most of her body, and she had her back to him. She wore raggedy clothing, hair white and her skin so pale her veins shown brightly through her skin and her body was skinny frail. She twitched inside, moving just ever so much to show that her skin was almost withering away. How long had she been inside this place?
So I hope you don’t know who the guy is… otherwise that makes me vary sad. Lol so jk. Anywho I hope you like it so far, please read and Review…. I would like to know your opinions, and hopefully you’ll look forward to the other chapters. Thanks always appreciated.
