Chapter One: Science Class

Miley listened to Mr. Terry drone on about ‘the importance of trees in our lives and in nature’. She knew she should be listening but really couldn’t think about it. She could only think about how her dad would kill her if she came home late. She had a Hannah gig, one of the most important ones ever. She was going to…perform the national anthem for the president!!!

“So, now we will pick pairs and each pair will plant a total of three trees around the schoolyard. As I make the cards for picking the pairs, please turn to page 155 and read until page 157.”

Miley had only gotten to step 7 out of 13 when it was time to pick partners.

Becca went up first. She got Johnny.

Then went Sarah. She got Jasmine.

Josh went next. He got Ricky.

Eva got Dave. Kelly got Diane. Jamie got George. Larry got Wendy. Finally it was Miley’s turn.

“Miley, please come up and choose your partner,” said Mr. Terry. Miley walked up slowly and picked into the blue tissue box. Please be Oliver, please be Oliver, please be Oliver, she pleaded to herself.

But her heart sank as she read the little slip of paper.

Ooh, whats gonna happen between them planting trees??? Maybe a little romance. I'm also gonna add Oliver and Lilly, and them getting paired up. There may be some Lolliver. Now review!!!

P.S.: I know its a little short, and chapter 2 will be too, but after that they'll get a little more interesting, and longer.
