Let the sun beat down upon my face
There he goes, beginning the Great Chase
Head held high and gun slung low
His presence remains an undying echo
---
T'was past the town of Tull
There was the boy and the skull
A horrid stale breath
...all that was left
---
The Dark Man mocks our every step
To the end and to the death
A choice he must make:
Save the boy or his own ambitious strife
---
The Man in Black grins his ghastly grin
The 'slingers will, he bends 'til the end
To the bottomless abyss, the boy falls evermore
A palaver to end the war of all wars
---
Dreaming dreams of things that will be
In time those blind eyes will see
Walter O'Dim has withered and gone
The gunslinger came, the journey moves on
