Before she dies

Okay, I’m not sure where this came from, but here it is anyhow. It came to me in a dream…

This is a short story about someone’s daughter’s thoughts before she dies.

Here I am, lying in a pool of my own blood. My ANBU mask lies beside me, soaked in blood. My breath slows as I look up at my murderer.

“Why?” I whisper softly, as I cough more blood.

He dose not answer as I look up at him my milk white eyes pleading that he just end it. My thoughts drift back to the first time he first looked at me like I was a piece of filth the didn’t belong there………………

FLASH BACK

A small girl of about nine runs up to greet her father as he enters there small home.

“ Tou-san!” She hugs his knees, happy that her father was home at last.

He kicks her in the stomach and she fly’s into the wall with a sickening ‘thud’. He glares at her as her mother comes into the room.

“Neji! Your home!” Her mother runs up to her husband and hugs him.

“Ah, my hime.” Is Neji’s answer as he hugs her back.

Then Neji looks at the little girl on the floor and says,

“Stupid fucking piece of filth. You shouldn’t have been born! Damn it!”

Then he kicks her again and then he and her mother go into their bedroom.

The next morning her mother was found dead in the house, she and Neji were nowhere to be found.

END FALSH BACK

I look up at him again now and see the very same hate and loathing with which he had looked at me on that night nine years ago. That night he killed my mother Hinata Hyuuga. I’ve hated him ever since that day. I hated him every time he raped me. I hated him every time he beat me. I escaped once and only once. I came back to Konoha and trained to become the grate ANBU I am today. But it all wasn’t enough. He found me. He caught me. And now he has nearly killed me. I let go of all will to live. I whisper one last sentence before I die. It is the sentence that will stay with him till the day he dies,

“ I love you………Tou-san…and I always will………even though…you…. killed…me…. and…Kaa-san…I will…always…love…you….Tou-san……………” I whisper as my last breath leaves my body.

“Always…”
