Ziva opened her eyes and the first thing she felt was pain. Unbearable pain.

What happened?

She tried to sit up, but even more pain shot through her body.

She slowly turned her head and realized that she was on the ground in her own apartment.

But where did the pain come from?

A smell of iron hang in the air and Ziva recognised the smell too well. Blood.

My own blood??

She slowly moved her hand to her stomach, grimacing at the pain in her upper arm and shoulder.

When she touched her stomach she felt a warm liquid.

Yes, my own blood.

She still didn’t remember anything.

Why am I bleeding. Am I attacked?? Why didn’t I fight the attacker off?

A sudden nausea came over her. She fought to keep her last dinner inside, but failed, she turned her head, to prevent choking in the vomit. Pain shot through her body.

She hated being weak.

A welcoming blackness came over her.

No, I have to stay awake.

She fought the blackness back.

I have to get some help

She tried to sit up again, she had to, she was a fighter. She grimaced at the pain, but didn’t give up. She had to get to the phone.

She crawled on the floor towards her phone, but only a few feet, than she collapsed on the ground again.

She panicked. She had to call somebody, she had to get some help, but she couldn’t she couldn’t move an inch.

She tried to hold back her tears. She was not supposed to cry, she never cries.

Again she failed and tears started running down her cheeks.

And still she didn’t know what happened.

The last thing she remembered was taking a shower and going to bed.

What time is it?

From the place she was laying right now she couldn’t see the clock, she looked at the window, still dark. Everyone would be asleep right now, it would take at least hours till somebody at work would miss her.

What should she do?

Another wave of nausea came over her, but this time she was able to fight it back.

Fighting the nausea back had cost too much energy and the last energy was waving out of her. She couldn’t fight against the pain and the blackness anymore, she just couldn’t.

Slowly she closed her eyes and let the welcoming blackness came over her, she didn’t care anymore. The only thing she wanted right now was sleeping and let go of the pain.

And? What do you think? Should I go on??
