Thanks for the nice review! I will continue on with the story

The days went by quickly. Trance had her eyes closed tightly. She was in the corridors again. She listened to the soft chimes throughout the ship. Trance felt a presence in the corridors, could it be Dylan? Yes, it was.

Dylan rounded a corner with madness and yet, the slightest possibility of joyfulness. He had been thinking for days, whether or not to tell her how much he felt for her. As he walked through the corridors he stopped. Trance was against a corridor wall. Dylan knew that something was wrong, something that he couldn’t find out.

Trance opened her eyes. Her vision got blurry as they welled up. She closed her eyes again, and tighter. Dylan walked up in front of her.

“Trance, you okay?” asked Dylan.

“Everyone is asking me that. I don’t know…Dylan, I need to talk to you,” Trance told him, at first hesitating.

What is it now Trance? Dylan thought, no I couldn’t say that to her.

As Rommie paced up and down the command deck, she thought about the crew. What now? You’re not a human being, Rommie told herself. She looked at the force lance that she had and dropped it.

“I can’t do it! If they can, they can. But I can’t!” Rommie complained.

“What are you going on about?” asked Andromeda.

Her holo-self appeared beside her.

“If they can live with jealousy and anger good for them, but I can’t!” Rommie trailed off.

“What do you mean jealousy and anger?” screen Rommie asked.

With the two of them there with her, it was clearly hard to tell them what she meant, even if it was herself.

“Dylan and Trance, their in love!” Rommie whined.

Her holo-self frowned. “Just because they spend a lot of time together doesn’t mean that they are in love,” Andromeda told her avatar.

The avatar went blank. For the first time in her history, she was confused. “What?” was all that she could say.

Screen Rommie sighed. “We said… it doesn’t mean their in love!” holo Rommie said, fairly loud.

Rommie shrugged. “You… two… don’t have… feelings,” Rommie told her other AI’s, trying not to get mad at the same time.

Beka was digging through her boxes of CD’s. This type of day was called Valentine day. Not the kind of Valentine day where you give out cards and such, it was a day for remembering her brother, her father, and her mother. As she looked through the box, Beka found something. Something as fragile as the earth itself, it was a flexi. The flexi had all of her mother’s holo-novels on it. Beka smiled. She remembered her biological family, but the one she was with was more then her other one.

Beka got up and went out of the Maru to the Andromeda. She traveled through the corridors to the machine shop. There she put down the flexi in her hand. It was damaged and very old.

“I’ll get Harper to fix it,” Beka figured.

She then left the machine shop and headed back to the Maru.

Harper sat in the piloting chair a slip fighter. He enjoyed times like this, times when there were no nietzsheans attacking them, times when they weren’t recruiting anyone, and especially times when there were no acid-like-bugs on the warship. It was just him and the silence. Harper had Doyle in charge of the bar. All he needed was time to rest; time to not worry about anything.

He held up the sparky cola he had and took a big huge gulp of it.

“Well it looks like my problems are settled and nothing to worry about, besides having to fix something of Beka’s I guess,” he didn’t really know if Beka had anything for him to fix.

As Doyle sat in the bar, she could hear loudness. Orlund was with her.

How annoying could this guy get? Doyle thought. Wait Doyle, don’t let your conscious get to you now, you were doing so well two hours ago. Let’s just wait for another game of 24 questions.

“So what’s it like being part of the crew?” Orlund asked.

Doyle sighed. “Death-defying,” was all she could say.

“How about being an avatar?” he asked.

“Adventurous,” she plainly answered.

“What’s the Maru like?” Orlund asked.

That time she couldn’t answer. “I… don’t really know”.

Rhade sat at a nearby table in the bar with a glass in his hand that was filled with alcoholic fumes. He could her Orlund asking Doyle questions.

There is only two reasons why I’m here, Rhade thought. One- to get away from Harper, and two- to get away from life!.

“Hey Doyle, how’s the question game going?” Rhade called over to her.

Doyle did a fake laugh and made a face that said ‘whatever’.

Rhade smiled. This was going to be a good day for him, he knew it.

“Okay Trance, what was it that you wanted to tell me?” Dylan asked.

Trance thought for a moment and then broke the silence. “Dylan…it’s been really hard to tell you this”- she hesitated for a moment, but then moved on-“I think I loved you from the very beginning”.

Dylan had the look of shock on his face.

I’ve known the amnesia Trance Gemini, but not this one! Dylan thought.

Trance felt guilty for what she had said to him. Dylan leaned closer to her.

“Trance, it’s okay. Nobody should hide love, especially you,” Dylan told her. He leaned closer and kissed her on the lips. It was that moment that Trance knew was going to change her life forever.

Rommie, Rhade, Doyle, Harper, Beka and Orlund watched the screen that had Trance and Dylan.

“They’ve finally found love for each other,” Orlund said, happily.

For a second there Rhade thought that he had seen a tear out of the corner of Orlund’s eye.

Everyone smiled, even Rommie who was still jealous a little. The screen flickered off.

True love should never be hidden, Trance told herself. Just like Dylan said.

There was something that Trance knew and that was that she loved Dylan, and he loved her too.

Three days later, Harper and Beka were at the bar. Harper had gotten the flexi fixed for her two days ago. Beka was reading the holo-novels that were on it and Harper was selling drinks.

“Beka, do you ever get the feeling that there isn’t that much peace time around here?” Harper asked, “I’m not trying to shoe you off or anything like that, just wondering”.

Beka stopped reading for a few seconds and looked up at him from the counter.

“You mean like that rare encounter three days ago when we had nothing to worry about? Harper, here we are now with nothing, completely nothing to worry about. We’re fine,” Beka told him.

“Yeah, But now I think that I’ve jumped to the conclusion of-,” Harper got cut off by Beka.

“Trance and Dylan,” Beka went blank.

“Yeah, Trance and Dylan, those two are spending so much time together now just because of a few words!” Harper complained.

“It’s not just two words, there special words, Harper,” Beka told him, “I don’t know why you have a problem with that,” Beka said.

Harper got confused. Trance used to be my best friend, he thought, why the heck am I even bothering to fuss about it anyway?

It just got harder and harder to think.

“Okay Beka, I don’t even know why I’m bothering myself about it,” he confessed.

“Good, then that means you’ll stop complaining about it?” she asked.

Harper frowned. “Just for now I guess,” then he saw an evil face that Beka was making.

“Okay, okay I’ll stop for good,” Harper said with no victory.

“Good,” Beka said, pleased.

Now I don’t have to worry about putting up with one of Harper’s fits! Beka thought.

A/N: I hope you liked the chapter! I tried to make it a long one, but somehow I don’t think it went out that well, oh well. Please, do submit a review if you want another chapter…or just a comment. Flamers are allowed.
