I was feeling bored the other day, and this plotline struck me, so... Out came this piece. (grins) Anyway, I'd say, take note of this piece for the character description, 'cause that was what I had in mind. (This is my first non-romance fanfiction, by the way... o-o)
Anyway, before you judge me or anything, I am a Kagami fan.
I just don't own Getbackers. o-o

The aluminum-wrought door swings open with a creak to reveal a blond man, dressed immaculately in white and purple.
He closes the door behind him, lilac gaze sweeping indolently around the space in front of him, before coming to rest on the only other occupant present. "I see you're well, Mr. Left."
Kagami Kyoji saunters into the small room, making his way to one of two velvet armchairs. His confidant does not form a reply, nor does he require one.
"So much has happened today," he comments vaguely. The man seats himself, propping an elbow on the plush armrest, and atop his upturned palm, his chin. His eyes wander over to cream-coloured walls that lie six feet away. Apart from the two armchairs, the room is otherwise spartan, a simple wooden table being the last piece of furniture there is.
Kagami Kyoji rarely visits this room, only dropping by when he needs to.
He reaches upwards with his fingers, belatedly recalling that his metal-framed earring has since been shattered. "Ah, yes. That Mido Ban."
Black eyes glitter almost knowingly beneath a wide-rimmed hat.
"You should have seen how he killed Fudou, Mr. Left. So uncharacteristically gentle." The man taps his fingertips against his cheek, momentarily lost in reminiscence. "It's such a pity that we can't watch it all over again, isn't it?"
His eyes drift back to his companion, meeting the steady gaze offered. Slender fingers pause. A shared sentiment seems to pass between them. Thin eyebrows arch; the corners of his lips pull upwards. "That's right, a camera would be useful."
Kagami Kyoji lapses into silence. Muted amusement flashes across lilac eyes, closely followed by a spark of interest that brings with it a certain awareness to his countenance.
"Kudou Himiko is quite the character," he remarks, more to himself than his confidant. Then again, he suspects that his attraction runs deeper than he deigns to admit. "Perhaps it would be fitting to begin my collection with a couple of pictures of her."
His confidant remains quiet. The man is tempted to believe that his suggestion was seconded by an imperceptible nod, but he does not. Instead, he pushes himself away from the velvet armrest, shifting his weight to his feet as he stands.
"Alright, then. There are things I must do." He lets his gaze linger on the unmoving figure of his companion for a last time. Lilac eyes close; lips press upwards in a genial smile.
"We'll meet again soon, Mr. Left." He slips a hand into his pocket. Turning on his heels, the blond walks casually to the door, resting a hand on the metal knob.
Kagami Kyoji's exit is swift and quiet.
All return to as they were before his arrival: silence descends once again in the room; the armchair is as empty as it had been. On the matching piece of furniture, a small figure sits, barely a foot tall.
Beady eyes gleam above a blunt snout; round, furry ears peek from the top of a cowboy hat. Beneath the stuffed head is a proportionately larger torso; the stumpy, brown-furred limbs attached are arranged in a sitting position.
Mr. Left reveals no secrets.
So, who/what do you think Mr. Left is? Go on, read it again! (While you're at it, is the characterisation of Kagami fitting? o-o)
Alright, if you can't, for the life of you, figure out his identity, Mr. Left is a teddy bear. XD I really, really do love this piece.
