Remy had died tonight, exactly one year from now, yes that means he died on Christmas Eve . Rogue sits there and spends all of her Christmas, right there at his Grave. OF coarse she's not alone in mourning on this day that
is supposed to be filled with Joy.

'All is calm, all is bright

Round yon virgin mother and child.'

Rogue and Remy shared a son, She gave birth the day before he died. The
sound of Romy crying woke Rogue from her trance.

'Holy infant so tender and mild,

Sleep in heavenly peace.

She hushed her crying son through her own tears and placed Romy back in his
cradle.

Shepherds quake at the sight,'

Rogue placed a reef on his head stone. Then turned to see Jubilee the youngest and most fragile of the X-Men crying behind her. As Rogue stood and looked past Jubilee she saw that all of the X-men were heading up the
hill.

Heavenly hosts sing alleluia;'

Rogue picked up her son and saw the X-men walk forward taking this as permission to approach her at was the most painful time of the year. Romy
opened his eye's they revealed to be just like his fathers.

I think I may have seen a hint of a smile in her eyes through the tears as
she looked at him.

But what ever small hint it was it disappeared just as quickly as it came
for those eye's reminded her of her loss.

I wish there was a way I could go back in time and fix things. Be there for her, and my son. Change this day from one of mourning back to one of
Joy and Music.

As they left I approached the head stone. It had my name on it. If only I had known I what had before I killed myself, maybe, things would be like
that in a fairy tale. But everyone knows there I no such things as
"Happily Ever After's".
