“Body Art”
She felt Eric’s hands slide around her waist in the locker room and she gave him a grin over her shoulder. “You better not be backing out of tonight.”
“Not backing out, more—delaying slightly.”
Angie’s grin faded, “You know this means we aren’t going out now.”
“Why not?”
“Because—you’re changing the terms of our agreement,” she said, “Therefore I get to change something as well.”
“Are you ever going to let me take you out on a date again?”
“No,” she sighed, “I hate the pretenses of dates. We all know where we’re going to end up anyway, and all we do is make small talk until we decide we’ve been there long enough and then head back to our place to have sex.” She looked up at him innocently, “I’m just cutting out the middle man.”
He smirked slightly, “I’d still like to take you out and show you off sometime.”
She frowned. “Maybe later. But not tonight.”
“Fine,” he sighed, “Not tonight.” He kissed her neck once before holding her a bit tighter, “But we are still on—right?”
“Yeah, we are,” she nodded with a smile, “Don’t worry.”
Eric’s hands moved over her back, and she arched up into his touch slightly, grinning when she felt him drop a kiss on her shoulder. He grinned back at her, “Feel good?”
“Mmm-hmm,” she purred, feeling her hands trail over her shoulders and down to the small of her back. He continued like that for a minute before he noticed something he hadn’t seen before. Angie picked her head up, but didn’t open her eyes, feeling his hands pause on the middle of her back. “What are you stopping for?”
“When’d you get this?”
She frowned for a minute, before glancing over her shoulder at what he was looking at. “My tattoo?”
“Yeah,” he said, “You didn’t have that before.”
“I got it for a job,” she said softly, “And I liked the design, so I decided to keep it.” She sat up slightly, turning to look at him, “Why?”
He shrugged, “Looks good on you. What does it mean?”
She shrugged, “The guy who designed it had a thing for Lord of the Rings. He said it was in Elvish, but I never asked him what it meant.”
“Going undercover at a geek convention?”
She gave him a look over her shoulder, “Cute.”
“Thought you’d like that.”
“I was just looking for something that would look pretty,” she replied, “Didn’t really matter what I was going undercover for.”
He pressed a kiss to the spot before moving up her back, stopping at her shoulder and then whispering in her ear, “Roll over.”
She grinned back at him before rolling over and wrapping him in a kiss. He pushed her back into the sheets, and she let him carry her away for the second time that night.
