Prologue

The life of a noble was thought of as an easy one. One filled with power, comfort, and unbelievable wealth. It was considered even easier if you belonged to one of the five great noble houses. But, I am here to tell you otherwise. The life of a noble is most certainly not easy, especially if you belong to one of the five great noble houses. Behind the fancy silk robes and behind their stoic faces is the reality of what goes on. Deception, betrayal, scandals, lust for power, sorrow, and all the other sins of humans are all experienced. Nobility has it flaws. We are thought to be a bunch of arrogant coldhearted bastards with no emotion. They are wrong. Nobles are humans too. This is my story.

EDIT: June 18, 2008 I'm editing this story's plot, and parts of chapter one due to events in the Bleach manga. There are still pairings, mainly OCxKaien and OCxOC. I decided to not have OCxIchimaru due to the very big age difference (the OC could probably be Gin's mother...) but the OC and Gin will definitely interact. Updates can be expected by next week, June 25, 2008, but until then I'll be working hard on it :)
