Finding truth
Night is such a gorgeous sight
Lights fade as flowers in the winter
The birds are not yet quiet, though they soon might
So alluring, so deadly is the night
I wander through the paths that I find
Unafraid of any creature that may cross them
Monsters with thirst of blood and flesh
For I once walked as a king among them
Now, even though I can still cause pain
And terrify the humankind
The sweet tempting chain of hope restrains me
And makes me do what I must not
For her. To be hers.
To belong with her.
Her, she, the woman child
The killer, the sunrise, my ending
The dream, the lustful yearning
The peril awaiting, the love I long to deserve
The soft glow of the stars
And the harsh light of the day
Unbearable pains, torments and torture
Inside me, the weight of the skies
Around my silent heart, a ring of steel
And I finally grasp the notion of my existence
I was made to love her. I was made to die.
