Bianca... Bianca...

I could hear Chris calling me, but I didn't want to wake up. Not just yet. Besides, I wanted to see what other methods of waking me he'd resort to if I faked being asleep for a little bit longer.

Bianca... help me...

Well that certainly got my attention. I sat bolt upright in bed and opened my eyes. That was when I noticed there was something wrong.

I was in my old room, in my old apartment, and I was wearing pajamas when I distinctly remember not wearing any the night before.

"Chris?" I called aloud.

Of course, there was no answer. Not that I'd really expected one. But, still... just what the hell was going on here?

I got to my feet quickly and threw on the first thing I could find. Usually, I was a little more concerned with my appearance, but today, it wasn't even close to being on my mind.

I walked into the kitchen to see my old roommate, Sasha, sitting at the counter, eating a bagel and reading the newspaper.

"Sasha?" I asked. I was a little shocked, to say the least. I hadn't seen her in years. Since she'd moved to L.A to try and become an actress.

"Uh, yeah?" she asked. "What, you have too much to drink last night? And speaking of last night, what happened to that guy you brought home last night?"

Okay, now I was confused. "Uh, you mean Chris?"

"Oh," she said with a catty grin, "was that his name?"

"Uh... uh... you know what?" I had to figure this out. And there was only one place to go to do it. "I've got some stuff to do, so I'll see you later."

"Sure, whatever," said Sasha distractedly. She had now turned her full attention back to the Celebrity page of the paper and licking the cream cheese off of her bagel.

I grabbed my purse and walked out of the apartment.

It should have taken me fifteen minutes to walk to the Halliwell Manor, but I took an extra long route so it took me half an hour. I couldn't help it. I was scared. What if they didn't remember me? What if... I don't know, the elders somehow magically removed me from Chris' life? They never liked the idea of the two of us together. And wiping someone's memory is something I wouldn't doubt they'd do. What if I go to the Manor and he answers the door, and doesn't remember me? Or what if they've removed me from his life and he's now with someone else?

Gradually, I gathered up the courage to walk up to the front door and knocked, praying, just praying that some little blonde bimbo wouldn't show up at the door claiming to be Chris Halliwell's fiancee.

Thankfully, when the door opened, Prue, Chris and Wyatt's younger sister was the one standing behind it.

"Hey," she said curiously, "who are you?"

"Oh, uhmmm..." I paused, confused for a moment. She didn't remember me. Hopefully Chris would. "I'm here to see your brother, Chris."

Prue gave me a strange look then. "You mean Wyatt, don't you?"

"No... I mean Chris." I could practically feel my stomach dropping to my feet. What did that mean? Where was Chris?

I stepped inside and Prue backed up. She narrowed her eyes at me and raised her hands into the air. Telekinetically, she slammed the door shut.

"Wyatt!" she called out. "Wyatt! Demon!"

She drew her hand up in the air, telekinetically raising me a foot into the air and holding me there.

"Who are you and what do you want with us?" she growled.

"I'm not here to hurt you! I am part demon, but I'm not here to hurt you! I need your help!" I pleaded. I couldn't help but think, Oh, god, I am going to die...they're going to kill me...

"A demon, huh?" said Wyatt as he walked down the stairs. His eyes never left mine. "And you need our help?" He stopped halfway down the stairs and summoned an energyball. "You better start talking." Prue raised me a little higher into the air so that I was at the same height as Wyatt. At this point, I was trying very, very hard not to look down. If I looked down and actually saw my feet floating in mid-air, I knew I'd lose it.

I took a deep breath and let it out slowly, making sure to look Wyatt directly in the eye. I had to show him I was telling the truth. "I don't know what's going on, but I know this isn't right. You have a brother, Wyatt. His name is Chris. He's two years younger than you are, and he has brown hair, like Piper, and green eyes, like Leo. And he's my fiance. When I went to bed last night, everything was normal, I was here, with him, like usual. But then when I woke up this morning I was back at my old apartment and now you don't remember your own brother. I need your help to figure out what's going on. He could be in some sort of danger, Wyatt." It was a cheap trick and I knew it, but appealing to Wyatt's whitelighter side almost always worked. Tell him there was an innocent in danger and he'd jump at the bait.

Prue, on the other hand, was another matter. "Oh, yeah?" she asked, sneering. "If he's your fiance how come there's no ring on your finger?"

She let me have control enough over my body so that I could lift my hand and see that she was right. My ring was missing.

It was then that Prue dropped her grip on me and I fell to the floor, hard.

I think I must have passed out for a second because when I opened my eyes again I was sitting on the floor and Wyatt was standing in front of me. Prue was nowhere to be seen and something looked... different. I couldn't put my finger on it exactly, but there was definitely something off.

Wyatt's clothes were different. That's what it was. And his hair... Wait, okay, something was going on. Three seconds ago, Wyatt had had his hair cut short and tidy like he always had it, and now his hair was long and unruly, almost brushing his shoulders. He had a small mustache and a small goatee, too. And he was wearing all black. In all the years I'd known him, I'd never seen Wyatt anything but cleanly shaved, and I'd never seen him in anything black.

Something was definitely going on.

"Hmm..." Wyatt snarled. "You thought you could get away with it, did you?"

Get away with what?

Behind me, the sound of orbs erupted. "Bianca!"

I knew that voice. I'd know that voice anywhere. It was Chris.

"Wyatt, you leave her out of this!" Chris shouted. He stepped in front of me and I got to my feet.

"Leave her? Leave her out of this?" said Wyatt, incredulous. "She just tried to kill me!"

It was then that I realized that there was a spilled potion and a shattered vial on the floor.

Chris looked back at me, wordlessly asking me if it was true. If I had attacked his brother. Honestly not knowing the answer, I shrugged.

Wyatt took this moment of distraction as an opportunity and summoned an energyball. He threw it at Chris' shoulder and Chris screamed in pain. So did I.

Chris fell to the floor, moaning in pain.

I stepped beside him, kneeling next to him. I looked up at Wyatt and he just grinned. "Don't do that again," was all he said.

I looked at him for another second before shimmering myself and Chris out of there.

We landed in the Arboretum. Or at least what was left of it.

"Chris?" I asked. I was going to ask him what was going on when I realized he'd passed out. His head was resting against my shoulder and even in sleep, he looked absolutely exhausted and defeated. And then there was that giant burn mark on his shoulder...

"Oh, baby," I cried, tears springing to my eyes. "Oh, baby, I'm so sorry..." I started stroking his hair, tears falling from my eyes and sliding down my cheeks. "I'm sorry..."

I woke up to find myself being shaken by Phoebe.

"Hey, are you okay?" she asked.

I nodded my head and got to my feet. I wiped the remaining tears from my eyes and noticed that Prue and Wyatt were standing together against the side wall. Wyatt looked confused. Prue looked enraged.

"Honey, what happened? Who are you?" asked Phoebe. "I'm Phoebe. I had a vision of Prue attacking you. I don't know why, but I know she's not supposed to. You need our help, don't you?"

"Umm... uh..." I couldn't help but stare at Wyatt. He'd been so evil...

"Uh, umm..." I stuttered again.

"Oh, get on with it," Prue snapped. She glared at me as I continued to stare at Wyatt.

"Uh, well, um," I turned towards Phoebe now, deciding that it was a better idea to just avoid looking at Wyatt. "Chris... he's... missing... and no one else remembers him... and he... he's Piper's other son, and no one remembers him, and my ring is gone!" I sniffled, trying not to cry again.

"Basically, what she told us," said Wyatt, "is that I have a brother. And now he's suddenly gone missing and no one else remembers him. And she says she's engaged to him. Whoever he is." He walked over to us and stood next to Phoebe. He looked me over, almost as if trying to figure out whether or not I was a threat. And that's when I snapped.

"You know what? I'm just going to leave. Forget I ever came here, okay?" Without waiting to see if anybody would try to stop me, I shimmered out of the Manor.

I landed at the Arboretum and sank down into the grass in front of our favorite stone bench. This had always been our spot - mine and Chris's.

"Where is he?" I looked to the sky, pleading. "What did you do with him?"

When no answer came I started to cry again.
