Sora has kept to himself mostly since the events of his first and second adventures, only leaving his world to visit his friends. Eventually, most of them moved to Destiny Islands, making less travel. Because of the fact he has not battled in a year, and he rarely sparred with Riku anymore, he had forgotten most of his skills, making him an easier target for turning (bringing to the vampire/undead side), but he was able to get lucky and survive, but unfortunately becoming a half-vampire in the process. He is now searching for the people who made him this way, and stop whatever plans they may have. He is also looking for a cure.

Age: 18

Race: Human

Type: Keyblade Wielder

Riku has been through a lot in his life, including fighting the darkness in his heart, but nothing could prepare him for the coming of the next evil that would disrupt his now peaceful life. He had become accustomed to the quiet, rarely sparring with Sora or anyone else, but he still longed for one more real battle. But will this battle against the rising darkness in Sora’s heart prove to be too much even for Riku?

Home World: Unknown (Hollow Bastion?)

Age: 17

Race: Human

Type: Princess of Pure Heart

Kairi turned up at Destiny Islands six months before the Heartless invaded and destroyed Destiny Islands. She doesn’t remember much of what happened before she got there, or who her family is. Ansem (Xehanort’s Heartless) seems to hold the clue, but he is long gone, defeated by Sora and the light of Kingdom Hearts. She waits impatiently at Destiny Islands, hoping for their quick return, but she fears this may not be as simple as it first seems.

Age: Hell, I don’t know!

Race: Mouse-King

Type: Keyblade Wielder

Mickey is always the first to sense arising danger when it occurs. He sensed the heartless and what danger they presented, and left to combat that danger early on, before even Sora became involved in the matter, and this time it’s no different. He realised the danger of the vampires and quickly had Frank sent to bring Sora to the frontline. What other actions he has taken towards this threat is as of yet unknown.

Age: 93 (Turned at 36)

Race: Vampire (Apparently full-blooded by unknown means)

Type: Vampire Slayer/Mercenary

Little is known about Frank, or who he is. What is known, however, is that he has been hired by Mickey to help Sora and Riku by any means necessary. His methods are tough on Sora and Riku, but it gets the job done. Mickey did say ‘by any means necessary…

Name: Sophie

Home World: Unknown

Age: 63 (Turned at 17)

Race: Half-Vampire

Type: Vampire Slayer/Mercenary

Like Frank, she mainly keeps to herself and will only speak when needed. This makes it hard to learn anything about her. What is known for sure is that she lives with Frank, and the two seem to have known each other for quite some time now.
