PLEASE READ: I’m trying to do something with this fanfic, what I’m trying to do is have a theme song for each chapter. The theme song will be told at the end of the chapter okay, now on with the story

Chapter 1

Zoey sitting on the stone bench next to the café, crying. The ribbon and bell that was usually around her neck, was in her hand.

“Why!” she yelled as she threw it to the ground.

Zoey started to cry into her hands now. It was late and the other mews had gone home.

(Flashback)

Zoey was walking out of the café, a smile on her face.

“Zoey” said a voice, catching her attention.

“Hey Mark, what’s up” said Zoey as she noticed her boyfriend standing in front of her.

“Nothing it’s just we need to talk” he said

“Um, sure about what?” asked Zoey.

“Zoe, I think we need to see other people” said Mark

Zoey’s eyes widen “W-what, why, I thought…”

“It’s just you being a mew is too weird for me” he replied.

“But Mark I thought you…” said Zoey

“I’m sorry” said Mark before he turned around and walked away.

(End Flashback)

Zoey was still crying, and then she felt a hand touch her shoulder. He looked up, tears in her eyes, at the person.

“You okay Zoe” asked Elliot as he sat next to her.

Zoey hugged him crying on his shoulder. This surprised Elliot but her let her.

“Tell me what happened Strawberry” he said in a calm voice.

Zoey took a deep breath and told him that Mark broke up with her and the reason why.

“I’m sorry” said Elliot. “Zoe, if will help, take off tomorrow. Take that day to calm down, I won’t tell the others the real reason why, okay.

“Thanks” was all she said as she wiped her eyes.

Then Zoey felt something cold on her neck.

“If your not going to wear the bell anymore, at least wear this” said Elliot when he was finished putting a thin silver chain on her neck

Handing on the chain was a ruby crystal strawberry. Zoey gasped at it.

“Elliot” she said

“An early birthday present, since your birthday is in about a week” said Elliot

Zoey smiled sadly as a thank you.
