Okay so here's the sequel to Nine Months and Family Ties. I'd give you more of an idea of this story, but it would kind of ruin the beginning, but I will tell you it's in Anna's POV for this chapter. So enjoy and please leave a review!

Disclaimer: I do not own Grey's Anatomy, nor will I ever. Sad isn't it?

I woke up, by falling out of my bed and onto the wooden floor. I look around and see that the sun was already up and I was late. Although I wasn't in a rush to get to my destination, expectations was what was keeping me from going. I sat on my bedroom floor, contemplating if I truly wanted to go. If I could truly live up to the expectations that everyone had made for me. I sighed, knowing that I had to go. So I got up off the floor and got dressed. I left my apartment twenty minutes later and reached Seattle Grace a few minutes later after that. I walked into the lobby, and I'm now going to start my first day as an intern.

I ran quickly to the locker room and to my appointed locker to get changed. I changed and ran towards OR 1 where all the interns gathered to get a mini lecture from the chief of surgery. I entered quietly and found my closest friends, Hannah Burke and Emily Karev. Hannah gave me a look that said 'Finally you're here!'.

"Nice to join us Dr. Shepard-Grey." The chief said as she turned around to greet me.

"Oh...umm...you're welcome Dr. Bailey." I told her shyly. She just gave me smirk.

"Alright, I'm going to assign you to your residents." Bailey announced.

She assigned all the other interns their residents; she was left with Hannah, Emily, this guy named Greg Howard, and myself. Bailey gave us another smirk, and sighed.

"Dr. Howard, let me introduce your fellow interns, Hannah Burke, Emily Karev, and finally Anna Shepard-Grey." Bailey introduced each on of us.

"Not to be rude Dr. Bailey, but what do this have to do with anything?" Greg asked her.

"To tell you that these three are the children of three of my former suck ups, and if you want me not kick you out of this program you'd not fraternize with them." Bailey told him, almost in a commanding tone.

The three of us each laughed a little, but we then soon regained compusure when the chief turned around.

"Alright you four go find the chief resident, Dr. Porter." Bailey told us.

We ran to find our resident, when we finally found him he was standing at the nurses' station, talking to one of the nurses there.

"First rule of being an intern. Don't be late, because when you're late, people die. And that's bad. Secondly, do not suck up, thirdly I like my coffee with two sugars and no milk. Fourthly do not wake me up or question me." He told us without turning around.

We all just stared at one another. "Any questions?" Dr. Porter asked.

None of us said anything, so he continued. "Good, here are your handbooks, memorize it, your pager, don't lose it and procedures, and memorize that too. So, I'm going to assign you to each of your attending, please do not sleep with them. Okay, Howard you're with Andrews, Karev, Dr. Montgomery-Slone wants to see you, Burke you're with Flemmington, and Dr. Shepard-Grey, Dr. Shepard has requested you." He ordered us.

Okay I know it's really short. But it's just the beginning! So leave a review and I'll see you all soon!
