"Reflection"
Too fast to hear their cries,
Too short of time for them to live,
I took pleasure in their grey,
I was greater than all, except she.
I haunted her as prey,
But she knew when I’d come,
I wanted her as prey,
But she stopped me before the kill.
Her name now burns me,
Those two letters that mean hell for me,
For they have trapped me,
Stole the world away from me.
Selfish,
Her words bring fire in my darkness,
That blaze,
That has spread all around.
The unknown monster,
And the red wand,
My prison now,
And I am alone.
The black abyss,
cold confusion,
I cannot reach out,
No one will find me.
Hope is nothing,
And so am I.
