Argues and insults. Her words pierce his guise; his stab her heart.

He laughs with his friends when her eyes glisten, tears threatening to fall, glaring as her only defense.

She smirks one day, saying she'd find the good in him; that she knows it exists.

He's doubtful; despite his cruelty, he lets her fall for his vulnerable moments.

He walks away feeling empty and breaking her heart.

Hushed months pass; he's indifferent.

The saddest part is he loved her.

Nobody knows, though.

They never will.

So he calls her mudblood, walking away as she pales.

So he loved her.
