Author of 3 Stories |
A/N: Hi, yes, I know. It’s been forever. Adapting to college has been hard, and I’ve had major writer’s block. But I’m still alive, and I am working on the next chapter. I have about 3 and ½ pages done so far. It’s going really slowly, but I’m making progress (it’s a lot considering the fact I had nothing just a couple of weeks ago). On another note, I’ve once again made changes to the previous chapters so that they’re smoother and the story (hopefully) doesn’t have any glaring holes in it. I’ve also put up a poll asking who you think Suzume should end up with. As of now, there’s no pairing. I guess who she ends up with, if she does, depends on the flow of the story.
So! Without further ado, here’s a preview of the next chapter.
Truthfully, Tsunade forgot about Suzume’s little “mission” the moment the girl left Konoha. She remembered only after Suzume returned. For a second she wondered, a bit hopefully, whether the girl’s matchmaking idea had been successful. The sour look on the dark haired girl’s face squashed her hopes. Tsunade sighed.
“I think I already know the answer to this question,” said Tsunade, “but… How did it go?”
Suzume scowled at the man in the wolf mask standing next to her—Kakashi, Tsunade reminded herself—and huffed in annoyance.
“Rather horribly,” Suzume deadpanned. “Who knew this guy here would be so horrible at matchmaking? One would think, with his reputation as an open pervert, that he would be better at this kind of thing.”
