To all new readers: This story will follow the life of Blaze and Silver. All the exciting and boring moments, the ups and downs, etc. etc. That being said, I don't know when it'll end so read at your own pace (seriously, this isn't Harry Potter so don't feel compelled to do it all in one sitting). A Prelude to…
My name is Blaze the Cat. What more can I say? These thoughts and feelings and memories are what they are, writ in stone.

Boring, romantic, violent and peaceful… All of those and more have been said and done. “Now”, at age fifteen, there is a world that awaits me, fresh and untouched. However, “then”, at age ten, I never saw beyond what I knew. What I did see “then” was important…but not as profound as what has yet to come “now”. The reality of “now”? I don’t know what will happen when I really do know. I don’t care what has happened when I really do care. The reality of “then”? It was a much more simpler time. It’s strange how something set in stone is also so fragile.
