Turnabout Phantom
Prologue
--
A shadow passed over the roofs, gliding through the air with a distinct hum. The Red Huntress sighed.
"I've been out here all night, and I still haven't found the ghost-boy. When I catch him I'll..." she paused, hearing something from an alleyway below. Suspicious, she slowly flew her glider down for a closer look. After spending a few moments looking into the alleyway, she barged on into the alley, ecto-gun ready and charged. Seeing a shadow, she pointed her gun at it.
"Freeze, ghost!" A small meow answered her. She stared for a minute at the small kitten looking back at her, before she started giggling to herself.
"I really need to relax. All this stress has me shooting at kittens!" She turned to leave, but a voice froze her in her tracks.
"Still going in guns blazing, eh Valerie?" A dark figure said as it seemingly appeared from nowhere in the darkness. Valerie stumbled back, groping for her ecto-gun.
"Y-y-you!" she said as she found the trigger of her weapon. Pointing it at the figure, she fired, but her pink shots went wide, slamming into the wall to the left of the figure. The figure dashed forward, hitting her arm and making her drop the powerful weapon.
"Because of you, my life was ruined. Now it's my turn!" the figure snarled, and the last thing Valerie Gray saw on this earth was green.

Author's Notes
Yes, I know I should be working on my other fics. But this was just too good of a story to pass up. Now that Valerie has been... taken care of, guess who gets the blame, especially considering the evidence they find at the scene of the crime? Exactly. Till next time!
