Cam looked around. "Where the hell am I?!" she shouted, twirling in a circle and finding she was alone. "Goddamn it!" she screamed. "APOLLO!!"

The smirking god appeared next to her, causing her to jump in fright. "Yes, my dear," he asked.

"Where are we? That was so not cool, dumping me here," Cam said, pushing hair out of her eyes, to no avail.

"Well, you wanted proof, so I sent you to Cloud Nine," Apollo replied, smirk still firmly in place.

Cam looked confused. "Ok, but that doesn't explain where I am. Or what I'm on," she added, looking down and bouncing, feeling the surface give slightly.

"It's Cloud Nine, like I said. A place where all of your dreams come true, if only for a short while," the god said, watching, with some amusement, as she started walking around, as if she were an astronut on a moon walk.

"Really now," she said thoughtfully. Suddenly, the sky around them dissappeared, replaced by the interior of a building. "Denny's!" Cam squealed delightedly. She noticed that the floor remained a cloud, but pushed the thought out of her mind as Apollo said, "Don't eat anything from here."

The dark haired girl frowned. "Why not? I love Denny's!"

He returned her frown and it was then that Cam noticed that he never fully met her eyes. He always looked at a point just beyond her. "If you were to eat here, on Cloud Nine, you would never be able to eat mortal food again. It would have no taste."

Cam's frowned deepened. Within a blink, the Denny's around them turned into a park and she walked over to the swing set. "Apollo?" He walked, well, glided, over and gracefully sat next to her. "What happened to me?"

The god blinked, not wanting to tell her, but hating to lie. "I don't think you're ready to hear, just yet."

The girl looked up from the cloud-floor, staring at the faux forest in front of her. "I knew you were going to say that," she sighed.

Apollo looked up sharply. "How did you know?" Cam shrugged. "People are predictable," was the vague reply. Apollo didn't quite believe that, but let it go, not wanting to press the issue. Cam started swinging her legs, propelling the swing back and forth. Apollo got up and walked behind her, pushing against her back.

The two remained there for awhile, swinging, talking, even the occasional laugh. All too soon, the park faded away and they were back on Cloud Nine. Apollo glanced at the sky. "Would you like to come with me as I wake the sun?," he asked. She nodded excitedly as he let out a whistle and a chariot appeared, pulled by two birds that seemed to be made of flame. It pulled to a halt next to them and Apollo grabbed her hand, intent on helping her into the chariot but dropping it as soon as they're hands touched. Cam let out a yelp and pulled her hand away. There had been a sharp jolt as they're hands met.

"What the hell was that," the girl breathed, rubbing her hand.

"Probably just static electricity," Apollo said, unconcerned. "We are on a cloud, after all. Come on, you won't want to miss this!" He placed her hand on her lower back, guiding Cam quickly onto the chariot and jumping on himself, grabbing the reins and taking off. Cam let out a sqeal of delight as they took to the air, Apollo grinning broading. But inside, he was worried. That shock wasn't from static electricity. He would have to look into that and, in the meantime, not touch Cam's skin.

"Apollo, wait, how do you wake the sun? The earth rotates around the sun, everyone knows that."

"Yes, but why do you think the sun keeps shining! Every so often, I go to the sun to talk to it, make sure it doesn't need anything. Fix any problems with it, give it some company, that sort of thing. It's been awhile since I checked in on it and I figure it's about time." He glanced at Cam, standing next to him. "Are you sure you want to come? It might be boring for you."

She looked at him, her eyes bright with excitment. "Are you kidding me?! I get to visit the sun! How many people can say they've done that?" He grinned at her and turned his attention to his beloved fire birds. Up up up they flew, into the clouds and past them and then into space. Cam was amazed that she had no problems breathing and that the cold of space didn't effect her. She asked Apollo about it and smiled as he launched into an explaination of the charms and incantations on his chariot, sounding like a child telling you about the new he got for Christmas. Cam realized that being here, with this arrogant blonde god, was the most fun she had had in a long time.

--

Apollo's chariot landed smoothly on the clouds in front of his house and Cam said something to Apollo and then quickly jumped off, bouncing slightly on the clouds, running into the house with the god hot on her heels. He chased her all around the house and finally caught her in her 'bedroom' when she ran in there and tried to lock him out. He flung her on the bed and leaped on top of her, tickling her stomach while she fought, in vain, to push him off.

"Say it!" he demanded, stopping his attack, only to move her hands above her head and hold them in place with one of his own. She only gasped for breath and tried to buck him off.

"Never!" she managed to squeak out, only to have him renew his attack on her until she finally called uncle.

He waited until she finally caught her breath, then demanded once more, "Say it."

"You are a better hunter than Artemis," she said, still panting slightly.

"Oh, well, that's not very nice," a voice behind them said. They turned and saw a woman standing in the doorway, leaning against it ever so causally. "Please, don't let me interupt anything," she continued, smirking.

Apollo scowled as he helped Cam stand. "And what do you want?" he asked.

"Oh, what, I can't just drop by for a visit?" she shot back, then glanced at the dark haired girl. "Are you not going to introduce us? Manners, my dear," she said, her eyes never leaving Cam's. She felt as though that gaze was peircing her own, looking into her soul and Cam could have sworn she saw suprise flit across the womans flawless face, but it was gone as quickly as it came.

"I'm sure you already know who this is," Apollo groused.

A low cuckle sounded. "Yes, but doesn't she know who I am?"

Apollo's jaw tensed, not wanting to admit she was right, though it was the truth. "Sister, this is Cam. Cam, meet my sister, the Goddess Artemis."

A/N: Dum dum dum! And so enters Artemis. She was always my favorite...

My apologies on taking so long, but this is the third freakin time I've written this chapter! The end keeps getting deleted! And, since I want to get this up and it's four in the morning, I'm stopping here. Plus, I need to do a bit more research before the next chapter, so hope that the muse decends upon me!
