Something I forgot to mention before, when the team was hit with the light, Jinmay was changed back into human mode. I’m just clearing things up if anyone got confused. Also, Chiro and Jinmay around the age of 16-18, because there were families around those age groups in that time . . . At least, I’m pretty sure.
Sorry I didn’t update quicker, I needed to get some more facts straight.
Disclaimer: I do not own the Hyperforce or the Titanic, the plot, though, is mine.
Gibson stood on top of a garbage can and looked around. “I do believe I can see a large body of water, possibly an ocean, and a very large ship! I do believe we are in that book, Titanic! Chiro have a look.” Gibson climbed down so the boy could see.
A small rectangular paper fell from Chiro’s pocket as he climbed up on the garbage can, “Hay Chiro, what’s that?” Otto snatched up the paper before it could be blown away by the coastal winds.
Otto looked over the paper, it had a picture of a giant ship with the words ‘S.S. Titanic’ printed on its side, and there also was an insignia of a red flag with the words ‘White Star Line’ printed on a white flag underneath it.
“May I see the paper Otto?” Antauri extended a hand towards the green monkey, who put the paper in his hand. “I do believe this is a ticket for the Titanic. Check your pockets, maybe we all have one.”
The team all searched their pockets, each had a ticket and Otto found he had a Yo-Yo too.
“So, were trapped inside that book Mandarin had?” Chiro raised his eyebrow at Antauri.
“I do believe so.” Antauri and the rest of the team look expectantly at Gibson.
“W-what? Don’t look at me, I have not read it. I am only interested in Shuggazoom’s history!” Gibson said, crossing his arms.
“I do believe that we should get aboard the ship, and try to follow the story as best we can. Perhaps when we make it to the end, we will escape from here.” Everyone nodded their heads to his.
“If were getting on there, we’ll probably need money for things. Right, Otto?” Otto and Chiro exchanged smiles that no one else saw.
“And I’m guessing that you two have a ball of money with you? Things aren’t cheep you know.” As Gibson said this, Chiro took off his shoe and out fell a ten dollar bill. Otto opened up his helmet and pulled out two twenties.
Gibson slapped his face as Chiro and Otto counted up their money.
“We’ve got fifty dollars in all, we should only use it when were desperate.” Chiro put the money back into his shoe. “And, I think we need to act like the people here. That means no hitting people,” He looked at Nova, “No meditating in public,” Antauri slowly got out of lotus position, “No turning into a robot, no flirting with Nova,” Sprx gave him a ‘who me?’ look, “ And no jet packs. All clear?” Every one nodded.
“Uh-oh, its getting dark out, maybe we should find somewhere to sleep for the night.” Otto looked out over the rows of houses.
“We could look for a hotel or something,” Sprx noted, “we’ve got some money.”
“I think we should just sleep here, that way we don’t have to worry about not finding a place, or it being to expensive.” Nova put in “All in favor of sleeping on trash bags raise your hands!” Chiro, Otto, Jinmay, and Nova raised their hands.
“Alright, all in favor of the hotel, hands up!” Sprx, Gibson, and Antauri raised their hands.
“Trash bags it is then. There are rules; first come, first serve!” With that, Nova jumped onto one of the higher bags.
“No fair! I called that one” Otto started to climb up to her.
“This is going to be a long night.” Gibson whispered to Antauri.
Sprx heard him and through a bag at both of them. “I voted for hotel!” He then pushed Otto off his bag.
After everyone was asleep on their individual bags, excluding Chiro and Jinmay who shared one of the bigger ones, the night watch men began their patrol.
Second chapter: Almost 2 pages. Crud, oh well.
Sorry to leave you on a cliffy, I didn’t want to rush things.
Until, next time:
