"Why Buffy, how nice. You've dyed your hair," he said languidly.

"Wrong, on both points," replied the Buffybot. "I'm just a natural clockwork killer."

"Whereas I'm the real thing," said Buffy, lounging in the doorway behind him. "Can't you tell the difference?"

"My mistake," he said with a light laugh, turning to look at her.

"There, you're right," whispered the Buffybot, suddenly un-nervingly close to his left ear, swiftly slipping her stake in between his ribs to tickle his heart with its point.

"Dead right!" said Buffy with a smile, casually producing the Scythe she had concealed behind her back.
