Chapter 6

A week after the last chapter

Professor Xavier sat behind his desk, Logan, Scott, Jean, Ororo, Bobby, Rogue, Kitty, Hank and Warren sat around the room. The Professor had a few files in his hand.

“So, is this girl safe where she is?” Jean asked.

“It appears so however what is more interesting is that I received a letter from the benefactor of the school, Bruce Wayne.” Xavier said and everyone stared at the man in shock.

“Bruce Wayne?” Kitty asked.

“Yes, he has written to me about four students at the school, all mutants, he is afraid that if non-mutants find out they would try and harm these students and they would have to deal with the prejudice against them” Xavier explained. Everyone nodded still slightly confused.

“Now, we know he knows about this school through Warren, he has asked if it is possible to transfer the students here for the remainder of the year.” Xavier told them.

“You think it’s a trick?” Logan asked the Professor.

“No, I do not; his intentions are true, from what I can gather. I have arranged for a meeting with him and these four students.” Professor Xavier said.

“Bruce is a good guy, he does care about the world, he may be a bit of a playboy but he donates his money to worthy causes, like this school, orphanages, the gay marriage initiative, and many other things, even hospitals.” Warren stated making sure they knew his friend was a good man.

“Why isn’t there head teacher writing to us about this?” Hank asked curious.

“Bruce is acting as the Headmaster for the next month. The current Headmistress is on maternity leave; her husband is going to be the headmaster once his paternity leave is over.” Xavier told the group.

“So, we are going to accept them into the school?” Scott asked.

“Yes, it will also give a chance to make a new ally, Bruce Wayne is very influential and being a friend of Warren’s it will only make the process easier.” Xavier said.

“Okay, what about Mrs Ford, she is leaving for her maternity leave. Who is going to replace her?” Rogue questioned the professor.

“She has given me a few people who are in need of work and would be fine working a school like this, one who has excellent credentials I have contacted; he has agreed to come and see the school and met everyone.” Xavier said as he smiled happily.

“Who is it?” Kitty asked.

“Harry Potter.” Xavier said.

Three days later on Bruce’s private jet

Harry was sat with Matthew and Julia, Scarlet had stayed behind in Aduro with their new son Drew, Sirius and Remus had moved in for the duration of this mission to help with the baby. Matthew and Julia had being causing a lot of trouble with their powers and Harry suggested he take them with him, and they could stay with him for a bit, they could also spend time with the Kent’s and various other ‘family’ members. The original Aduro students still were aunts and uncles to the kids. It would also give Scarlet an easier time with Drew.

Bruce sat in a chair with a laptop and was working on things for his company. Dante was trying to avoid Rey, which was hard considering they were on a plane, Todd and Tech had bonded very nicely and were chatting happily while laughing at the boys from time to time.

“Sir?” Dante spoke to Harry. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Dante.

“How is going to work?” He asked.

“You will be students, and pretend not to know me. I will be a teacher and only contact you outside of class with the two way mirrors. Hermione is the ‘Headmistress’ of Aduro. She was always labelled as that to anyone outside the community; it covered us since missions come up often.” Harry told them all. Dante just nodded and went back to watching Rey who had moved close to him during this.

Harry chuckled lightly before going back to playing with his children. Todd was just what the school needed; she was the connection between Dante and the others. Before Dante found it hard, though the others tried however Todd turned out to be the missing link.

He was drawn from his thoughts when Dante yelled.

“NO! You have fish hands.” Rey had pinned him to a chair and Dante trying to fend him off.

“Fish hands?” Harry asked the girls quietly.

“Rey had some tuna sandwiches before we left and you know how fish freak Dante out.” Todd answered.

“Okay then.” Harry said and turned back to his children.
