Summary: Takes place pre-unexpected. Drabble. Claude goes to wake up Peter for training. Slash
Get Up
There was something about the way Peter slept that just begged to be observed. Maybe it was the way his body was positioned, or that his pale face looked absolutely stunning when met with early morning sunbeams. He looked more naive and innocent when asleep, if that was even possible.
Whatever the reason, looking away from the sleeping empath seemed to be a crime.
Claude had spent the night on Peter’s couch, and was coming into his bedroom to wake him up for some early morning training. He figured Peter would be a morning person, already awake and happy for a new day. Instead, he found the boy sprawled across his bed, his arm over his torso, and the room quite silent.
It was a few minutes before Claude actually blinked and rolled his eyes. He grinned and looked down at the stick he was clutching. He found it outside earlier, and thought it useful for training.
His grin widened and he smacked it down hard onto Peter’s body. He could almost feel guilty for it too.
The sound was loud, and it jolted Peter up instantly. He glared at Claude, yelping while clutching onto his sides.
“What the hell?” he demanded, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the morning light.
“Get up.” Claude announced, still grinning. “We’ve got training to do.”
He just stared at his mentor as he left the room for Peter to get dressed. It took a few minutes for him to actually realize what had just happened. He pouted.
“He didn’t even say good morning.”
