Chapter 11: set sail

Sorry I haven▓t updated. I▓ve had color guard practice. All week. Mostly 9am-9pm. It took a lot out of me. I also bent back my finger and it hurts real bad, but I figure I need to update on this story. On with the story.

Aaliyah▓s pov.

Feast your eyes, Captain. All of them, faithful hands before the mast, every man worth his salt. And crazy to boot,■ said Gibbs. God. I▓m so bored, tired, hungry, and dirty. Why can▓t time go any faster.

⌠Mr. Cotton ? do you have the courage and fortitude to follow orders and stay true in the face of danger and almost certain death? Mr. Cotton ! Answer, man,■ Jack said.

⌠He's a mute, Jack. He had his tongue cut out, so he trained the parrot to talk for him,■ I said tying to make this scene go faster. Jack smiled at me. Believe me. I don▓t know why. I raised an eyebrow.

⌠Mr. Cotton 's... parrot. Same question.■

⌠Wind in the sails! Wind in the sails!■

⌠Mostly, we figure, that means yes,■ Gibbs said shaking his head.

⌠What else would it mean,■ I said wanting an answer. Will shrugged.

⌠And what▓s the benefit for us,■ said a voice down the line.
Jack walked down there with Will following behind. Good. He needs to be slapped some more.

⌠You stole my boat.■

⌠Actually┘■ SLAP. ⌠borrowed. Borrowed without permission. But with every intention of bringing it back to you.■

⌠You'll get another one!■

She pointed her finger at him. ⌠I will.■

⌠A better one,■ Will shot in.

⌠A better one,■ Jack said shaking his head. Men. well mostly pirates. They need help. They got the stuff. Just need the help. Will tapped me on the shoulder.

⌠Come on. Were going to the boat.■ I nodded. If only there wasn▓t going to be a storm, then I▓d be happy and do my happy dance. Guess it wont be that bad.

⌠This is bad,■ I yelled to Will.

⌠You think I don▓t notice that,■ he yelled back.

⌠Well maybe if you were blind. You might not notice it. Well you might know because of the rocking of the ship.■ Will rolled his eyes. ⌠What. I was just saying.■

⌠How can we sail to an island that nobody can find with a compass that doesn▓t work,■ Will yelled to Gibbs.

⌠Aye, the compass doesn▓t point north but we are not trying to find north are we?■ I turned to Gibbs.

⌠But the island could be toward the North.■ Gibbs shook his head and rolled his eyes. ⌠Damn. Everybody got to roll their eyes at me, ▒cause if you got a problem with it you come talk to me about it,■ I said. ⌠I▓m tired of all you men. Or should I say PIRATES. Some of yawl need to get a new job anyways, ▒cause not all yawl know how to be a pirate.■ Jack looked at me.

⌠You didn▓t have to go that far luv.■ Omg. He▓s calling me luv again. I▓m so happy. I thought he was going to be mad with me the hole entire movie. I was thinking about Jack that I didn▓t notice Will in front of me. ⌠Whoa. Where did you come from?■

⌠From there,■ he said pointing where Gibbs was. I pointed at him.

⌠Don▓t be a smart-ass with me.■

⌠ I▓m sorry. Is it another thing that annoys you.■

⌠Well no ▒cause I do it too. I can mostly be a smart-ass every second, minute, hour, day, week, month, or year. See I▓m being one right now.■ Will nodded.

⌠I see.■ The storm was starting to clear. Will looked up at the dark sky. I knew he was thinking about Lizzie. I put my hand on his shoulder.

⌠Don▓t worry. I▓m sure she▓s fine right now. At this very moment. Promise.■ He looked at me. ⌠Cross my heart hope to die, stick a needle in my eye. So cheer your ass up.■ I punched him in the arm. Ok know I▓m hyper and I don▓t know why. Oh well.
